I don't know how many of you have seen the Top Gear episode, were Jeremy Clarkson jets off to Laguna Seca to try and match his time set on GT4. Well over on Supercars.net, someone decided to start a competition using his time as the standard. Well maybe, it would be a good idea to start one on here

Arcade Mode

Honda NSX Type R '02 (he used a 2004 Acura NSX in real life)

whichever tyres are standard - Sports: Medium I believe

forgot to say, post your time and a picture of the time (for proof, obviously) on here and I'll update the list
 
Technically Clarkson would have set his time at Laguna Seca in an Acura NSX, of which the equivilant in the game is the '2004 Acura NSX'

The time he set in the video game though was indeed a Honda NSX Type-R.

it was indeed the 04 Acura version, I guess that belongs in the brief as a little extra info, incase anybody questions the choice of car in GT4

I don't mind trying this challenge, but what's the point of posting a picture? It's just as easy to mod the hell out of an NSX-R, pretend it's stock, and run a sub 1'10sec lap as it is to make up a time. People are generally going to be honest here.

I did some laps as my dinner cook and dropped some time.
The new time is 1'35.371.
I updated the photo post. Playing with my new digital camera tring to find best setting.
 
I'll work on that. Do you have an STI? If so, you should try out the lap of the Ring in YOUR car challenge.
 
Finally. Took a break, came back to it, got a 1:35.330! Excellent time, STI, that was tough! P.S. PLEASE Don't beat my time! :P

Edit: I like these came car, same track competitions. Really challenges the driver.

I did a 1'34.652 in GT Mode before I noticed this challenge had to be done in Arcade Mode.

holy cow thats fast, set a new personal best 1:35. 510, but nowhere near as quick as that, wow
 
god you two are going fast, and now I've lent my copy of GT4 to a friend, I aint gonna be getting anywhere near you for a while
