Everytime I open GIMP, this happens:




Can anyone explain me why this is? Normally a loading window should appear before it opens up but it doesn't do that anymore

Not what you want to hear, but looks like the gimp may have finally got his revenge after all that coverage in Pulp Fiction a few years ago!

Have you tried re-installing GIMP? Seems like that happend to me and a reinstall fixed it.

Ok, I think I know what your problem is...
What happens when you click on one of these .jpeg files from that menu?

EDIT: Pretty much what I think is that the file that is meant to read different file languages in the program has become corrupt.
