Image Editing Programs

I know Adobe Photoshop is a good editing program, but I can't get it right now. I'm wondering if there's any other good editing programs out there. (preferably free)

and I've search through download.com, but I don't really want to download all of those programs.... :crazy:

There's Picasa and GIMP, do a Google search for both of those. There's also Paint Shop Pro, that's a cheap (in comparison) alternative to Photoshop.

For Macs, there's GIMP again if you have X11, and there's also Graphic Converter.

I second Duck's recomendations for Gimp & Picasa, by far the best free apps around. In fact TBH I m not sure if there are any other worth a mention here.

Paint.NET is good, but you'll need MS's .NET framework to use it.
