Seriously, this crap's gotta go:



It's one thing to change your username, it's another when the forum actually has to reformat itself just to accomodate it.

There needs to be a limit on this. I don't know who this user used to be, and frankly, I don't care. I shouldn't have to see the whole webpage screwed up just so ONE guy can have his huge-ass username.
 
It was DQ and changing names is a privilege premium members have the right to. Furthermore Duke has told us to not make a trend about tis and DQ is the only member who will be doing this. I'm sure it will get old and he'll change it eventually....no big deal sir ;)

Well, DQ changed his name into that for fun. It's not going to be permanent at all, and he'd probably have it changed back in a few weeks.
 
Sorry guys. I didn't think it would cause that much trouble. A slighty wider page isn't that bad is it? If people really don't like it I can request that it be changed back. :(

I don't have a clue what it means, but I don't mind it :). It's just a bit of fun, and it doesn't distort things HUGELY unless you're running at below 800x600.

If you get more yes' than anything else than I will request it be changed back and the Mods can decide what to do about capping character limits on usernames.

If you get No's or Don't Care's, then the mob has spoken. :)

Its really not such a big deal, unless your computer is running at something retarded like 600x400. :indiff:

KRYTEN: I know. I had a Mechanoid friend once who suffered from the same affliction. His name was Gilbert, but he preferred it if people called him "Rameses Niblick the Third, Kerplunk Kerplunk, Whoops, Where's My Thribble." A sad case.

What reformatting is there? I just see a longer line where the username is put.

I kinda like it, it's sort of funny. I just wish people would give an indication when they change their username, like in their sigs. Sometimes I have no idea who it is.
 
It's not a big deal, and nothing to get bent out of shape about. Besides, Rameses Niblick III Kerplunk Kerplunk Whoops Where's My Thribble
(Previously Gilbert) said it's only temporary.
 
Personally, I have mixed feelings about this. If DQ keeps his name, several more people will probably have names as long as his since the bar is set. And then everything would look very tacky, annoying, and such.

For the short term, I'm fine with DQ's name, though it is annoying when he posts. For the long term, when (notice I didn't say "if") someone else has a name as long as his, we'll need to set a character limit.
 
Hmm I thought it was comical to have a name that long. Plus it isn't harming anyone and it isn't offensive, so all power to Dunc!

Slightly, but I don't then actively go out and stop flys from entering my house completely.

I do have a mouse, which is as intrusive as a pop under add though! Although I use adblock plus for those and well mouse poison for the mouse.

I think allot of people need to chillax a bit more at gtp sometimes.
 
I think it's funny.:lol: I don't see any prob with it. And if there only going to have it for little while, I say go for it. And then you can put it in your sig.xD

And if a Super Mod dosen't think it's bad. I still say go for it. It won't bug my computer. We can hand'll 1280x1024.

My real name is HolyGrenadeFrenzy but also go by H.GrenadeFrenzy when there isn't enough room for a name and that is a shame.

What about the real people with names like John Jingle Jamer Hymer Schmidt.........his name is my name too....When ever we go out the people always shout HEY John Jingle Jamer Hymer Schmidt.....DaDaDA DA DA DA DA
