well :grumpy: on those narrow aria alleys but gt mode and the car are cool so i'll give it a go anyway :) cant stay away for two weeks in a row now can i? 👍

I got it, you guys want to distract me from the board challenge 💡 In such a track, there is always time to get, even more on a GT mode race, where there is always that setup change that'll yield us some more tenths.

Perhaps ;)

Under what name are you racing?

Any way ,good luck mate.

I'm . . , captain of the team GTPT-GTBR. GTPlanet wouldn't let me enter that nickname, so I'm using here the same name I use at the PSNetwork.

What name is that CMir and iv finished my BC race, i would have like to have got 4th but it was not to be. good luck on your race 👍

Thanks, I saw you were very close to 4th. Still, a nice laptime (I tested it and in 3 laps got 1'54)

Now about this race: anyone got settings for me? Last GT-mode week I got a good result thanks to a good borrowed setup...

Na no set up from me, i tend to only mess with the gearing to be honest. But this is a funny track because you feel like you are going really fast. Your gonna need a good rear end for this one i think but don't ask me how to do that lol

try out this one and dont forget to buy & adjust the vcd thingy 'cos it might be important to control the rear just like michael said. also be critical about the weird brake controller settings - dont know if putting them so high can be effective.

I was going to try this now but I have a problem: my car has 213hp stock and 278hp after the turbo upgrade. :indiff:

Probably that's because I use one of those downloadable gamesaves with lots of money and all the cars and stuff like that, so that's easier to start GT mode on line racing. (My own file has no money, I spent it all on new cars.) This car is supposed to be bought as used, right? But in my file the one I have at the garage has 0 km, so the engine is not worn, that's how it's more powerful. What should I do? I'm 50 weeks away from getting this car as used!!

I can send you my gamesave :)

I have all colors.

Thanks, but I think I won't need it. I'm taking the task of entering and quitting licence tests... more than 300 times :dopey:

Edit: After more than one boring hour, I could start racing! I'm really bad at Aria and these were only test splits, so I hope to improve a lot.

0'39.929
1'10.945

No LSD (useless on 4WD cars) and no aids. As I'm not very good with 4WD cars, I made it look more like a FR. VCD set to 10 and weight balance to +50 (rear). Default brakes and suspension.

Surely there's an easier way ... my PS2 takes about 30s each time and I really don't want to spend the rest of the week pushing buttons?

If someone has an NTSC gamesave with this car I'll try it but historically my PS2 hasn't been able to read saves from other machines.

This car appears during weeks 71, 80 and 97, so you can be close to it ;). My PS2 only took around 11 seconds to do each loading screen.

BTW, I made a mistake on my posted splits, it's 10.945 and not 10.045

I'm at about week 110 so if it repeats every 100 weeks I'm still 61 weeks or 427 days off. Bugger!

You may not be that far away; on NTSC it appears weeks 48, 73 and 82 according to the NTSC Excel Used Car Listing in the FAQ's.

That's my first order of business tonight - I don't know what week I'm in - hopefully not at week 83

I can't believe I've wasted my evening looking for this car. Someone please send me a NTSC gamesave with the car on it. Contact me one way or another for my email addy.

I'm so sorry, guys, for the car this week.
I knew it couldn't be bought so I thought it was a prize car.

I didn't realised it would so much trouble to get the Lancia.:nervous:

So I take responsibility for my action and can make it up by posting an very early next week race.💡

No worries Sjaak. There is a Lancia Delta that can be won in the Special Events hall but it's not the same as this one. I know because I spent Monday night's session winning it so I could race :) Got a very busy weekend anyway and I'm not one of those guys who sets a world record on my third lap (or thirtieth, or three hundredth :)) so I'm pretty much done for this week. Shame because I actually like the track, I still have memories of trying to get the Gold drifting a Lotus V8 round that hairpin at the top of the hill on one of the license tests.

One recommendation for future races is maybe give an earlier heads up on the car, then announce the track on Sunday/Monday. That way those of us who don't have all-encompassing saves can make sure we have the car ready for the start of the week.

It's surely only necessary to give the early heads up IF the car is a rare care in the used garage - I always look in my piggyback guide(which tells you what days (PAL) the car is available). Alternatively, look here (for PAL) or here (for NTSC)

Well, this game save car is also a 0 mile car... Which means it'll have 265hp before the oil change(how I'm running it), or more after the oil change.

So what's next week's race? Maybe we should just start on it now and have it go for an extra half a week... Well, if it's GT Mode anyway. :sly:

no postings from me this week. 128 reminded me why i dont like city tracks :grumpy:
never mind, there'll always be another week in wrs 👍

think i might five this one a miss, if it were arcade that would be a different story, plus the bc is on the agenda

I gonna change the car into a Integrale Rally Car '92

Stock + oilchange
racing soft tires

I will update the first post.

Perhaps some have still interest in the Citta Track.

Dam you Sjaak :( :( i had some great splits for that last car 39.793/ 1'09.771 but now i gotta go again. Oh well i well go for it again and see what i get.

good luck all 👍
