Dam you Sjaak i had some great splits for that last car 39.793/ 1'09.771 but now i gotta go again. Oh well i well go for it again and see what i get.

Hah! I beat that on my first session. Amazing how far 60 extra HP goes towards compensating for lack of talent Of course I also wiped out badly on the uphill climb to the finish but we won't mention that.

Not this time, although we have done that in the past. Personally I like the idea of having 65HP advantage over the Div 1 guys, makes things a bit more even.

Dan on the other hand would have to be driving a tow-truck in reverse before I'll be waiting for him at the finish line

My first goes - it helped that to win a new Lancia, I had to do the same rally (Fwd and Rev) and chose to do it in my old Lancia '92 - cunning huh?
Anyway my early banker lap is

Never really been brave enough at Citta Di Aria; and my Fwd and Rev to win the car reminded me that as little as I know the Forward course - my lines for the Reverse course are even worse!

Didn't change much: ride height 110/110, rear rebound down 2 (I think I'm at 6/6 6/4) to try to tame the rear under braking entering the narrow section after T1, brakes 4/2, full downforce, LSD 5/5 5/5 (left decel alone), VCD 10.

And a question on the tranny trick (which I have been using for quite some time). Maybe I've forgotten how to do it, but as I looked at the ratios after tranny trick (which look a lot closer) I noticed that nothing really changed. Although the ratios themselves change, the spread remains the same. That is, divide 1st gear ratio by 6th gear ratio before tranny trick for a given auto setting and then compare it to after tranny trick - I get the same ratio spread; which means that nothing has changed. Comments?

Stock settings with gears at auto 8. Not enough time to play with settings but thought I would throw in a few laps as the leaderboard is looking a bit threadbare this week. It passes the rule of plausible deniability (I can plausibly deny knowing I hit anything) but probably wouldnt stand up to close scrutiny as I ran pretty close on a few occasions.

for the vote in confidence, but dont go promoting me just yet. Took me the best part of 2 hours to get them splits whereas you probably got them on ur 1st or 2nd outing

Keep improving on one sector and then throwing it away on another! My T2 was down to a 1'02.885 at one stage but then I lost it at the second to last corner!!!
