This is just a test, and what better way to test it than with you guys. ;) You have to download a plugin, and it works best with IE5.0 and up.

www.blueonion.net/atmosphere/

Check it out and have fun, and let me know how it goes.

This is pretty cool Pako. It's kind of like an old chat program I used to have. It was called Active Worlds. Anyway, here's a cool picture I found in your little world.

:D Sweet man...., "It's Alive!!!" ;)

Anyhow, it's just a beta program and seems pretty buggy. I might also add, that it is processor intensive. I tried to load it today at work on a PII 333, with no luck what so ever.

It is a cool alternative though for people with a decent connection and a decent computer. I really like the chat feature built into it as I wanted some sort of chat enabled on the site that was java based (can't have any cgi/php...ect with my ISP).

Yeah..., well what you see is just a template, just selecting some basic options and images.

You can download a full beta version and create your own worlds. You can download the beta from www.adobe.com/atmosphere/

This is the real issue. I've got a PIII/1000 with 512MB RAM and a 1Mb connection, and I found it slow and clunky. I also kind of expected the interface to work a little like Quake, and found that continually having to click-and-drag to move was, frankly, a pain in the ar5e. Obviously, this is not a criticism of you Pako, but I didn't like it.

That said, the photographs themselves are excellent - a real fresh outlook on concert photography.

You need a new ISP :P!!

When I get round to developing skins for my forums, we could talk!

[off-topic] Have you released that new CD yet? [/off-topic]

;) so So you didn't like the interface, eh? Try using the arrow keys..., it makes it much easier to move around. I tried it on a PII 333 1/2 mb connection and it wouldn't even load. You should have heard the processor grinding away. I let it crunch for about ten minutes before I put it out of it's misery. ;)

Yes I do need a new ISP... :D

[off-topic] Not quite yet..., but soon. But the best things in life are worth waiting for... ;) [/off-topic]

Jeese, you could use your mouse? I just used the keyboard. Hmm, I'd be interested in a PII maybe 500mhz. Anyone know how much that would cost? I'm planning on making a music server once I go to college in 2 years, but rather than storing files as .mp3's, I want to keep their quality as .wav's. I'll need plenty of 250GB HDD's probably, or maybe that new storage media will come out, where it uses individual atoms to run through something and trigger everything that way, on the atomic scale... Oh man, it's too far away to know!
