I've been playing around with Copilot trying to recreate some childhood memory scenes, like me and my friends playing D&D in my parent's garage, my mate and I playing on the C64 in my bedroom, and my friends and I playing poker in my mate's bedroom (identical to my room except mirror-imaged, as we lived in the same type of house on the same estate) when we were 13 or 14, and drinking illicit beers that his Mum turned a blind eye to (we also snuck in a half bottle of vodka too, which we were definitely not allowed...) - but Copilot won't create the latter, presumably because of the underage drinking aspect

How well do you think the images produced represent your memories?

I can usually get them to a point where they certainly evoke the sense of what I was trying to get at, but they never quite get there in terms of being uncanny or super-familiar.

That said, I don't want them to be too close and replace the actual mental image(s) I have, but it is quite cool to create a visual representation of something that has only existed in my head for the last 35-40 years.

I keep buying these cheese bake things for a local shop at lunchtime and storing them in a fridge at work, only to forget to take them home. My mate and I came up with a cunning plan and design a cap for me to wear, like those supermarket badges that say "Ask me for help", but so that any random person can remind me about my cheese bakes that I've forgotten to take home.

I don't know whether to be seriously impressed or seriously depressed... this entire song was made in minutes almost entirely by AI. The only prompts were the musical genre, and a handful of lyrics I wrote for the 'real' version years ago (see below). The artwork is also entirely AI generated.

The AI generated a short 30s track (the intro here) which you can then extend and append to the original. You can also ask it to generate new lyrics based on whatever lyrics you already have, or from scratch.

I used a free mp3 merger and hosting site just to quickly post this, so it's a bit clunky, but still...
