Either way, it looks in about as good condition as the Spectre Fastback from yesterday.

A new day, another adventure in the world of Car Mechanic Simulator. Today I've brought home a Sakura GT20, which some loonies in an alternate universe copied and called a Toyota 2000GT. Loonies.

This is the point where I'd normally sell it and get ~$45k for it. But I don't feel like it. I'd actually want to own this in real life. Except it'd cost about 17642486792757894132889757461987 dkr. *sigh*

There we go! A new, modernised, performance tuned engine outputting 480 horsepowers, new running gear and classic bodywork paired with a nice set of wheels. The paintwork is not bad either, if I do say so myself.

That looks a lot better already. Unfortunately, whoever was in charge of documenting this build took the image before I put the other headlight in. Aside from that, a respray should be the last point on our list.

Final step: bodywork. Going all original on this one.

I could go for rims like the original, but I feel like it deserves something more modern while being the same style.

..and there goes the rest of a brand new performance exhaust. And it looks fancier than the old one. Now for the wheels.

Now for the exhaust. Manifolds are on both sides.

Oh look, a shiny new air filter!

In goes the battery, brake servo and a brand new intake manifold with performance carburettors. All we need now is the air filter.

Radiator bits are in their right place. That should stop the engine overheating. Useful with the amount of power we're putting into this.

It is slowly coming together. With this many parts replaced (essentially the entire car), I am starting to ask the "new car or old car" question.

With that done, the spark plugs are in and the wiring is complete.

Valves and rocker arms.. we meet again..

Fuel filter, power steering, alternator, cam gear and ignition. All brand new.
