I have three that are preferred, you guys can decide which one to use (I don't care which.) Nurb 24h layout, Le Sarthe (newest layout, 2013 I think) or Zahara to replace the Speedway, am I doing this right?

Le Sarthe may be ok at high PP, but any layout of Nords is too long to bother with I'd imagine since we'd get....what, 2 laps and that's it?

Hey guys, I know I still have some extra PP to play around with, but how does my lineup look so far this time? (Candidates for exchange being the RX-7 and the GT-R.)

Looks good. Just use a better GT-R like the Spec V '09 or black mask to make up some more pp.

Tez told me of a couple other good cars to use also, I'm liking the happy to help attitude here.

Edit: does my winter avatar need a "colder" feel to it?

Hey guys I have added to things to the OP. The first is a calendar entry for a Sunday Event. I am attempting to get a late night 9:30-11:00 Pacific Time event going. It will be a work in progress for a while but hopefully it will get some traction.

The second is another time trial. This one will be purely racecars. Why you ask? Well Because Racecar! I know some people prefer driving streetcars and some prefer racecars. This way we can do both. I will have the inaugural Race Car TT details ready for next weeks time trials. It will run from Wed-Tue like the current TT.

Oh and I hope we will be able to announce one more event in the near future.

Ok, hopefully last question for a while, on both of the sign up sheets I've seen so far there have been the numbers 1-4 with one of each drivetrain, are these the four most used cars for each drivetrain? (Within the pp limit of course.)

They are just some lineups that @88GTA is putting together to make it easy for someone to just join In quickly

GT6 server maintenance is expected around 11pm EST / 8pm PST on Tuesday. We should be able to get in all 4 races but we will have to start as close to 9:30pm/6:30pm as we can.

I have a question. Why do we not have a PP range for racing tires? Are we just against them for political reasons?
I guess it comes down to the original PP range. Since the maximum PP was 2000 this meant the highest PP you could use was 550 (later changed to 525). At that range Racing tires just provide too much grip in my opinion. Now that we do splits that mean we use cars with PP as high as 600 maybe we can revisit that. What do you all think?

Another question, is it sadistic to have two RUF cars in your lineup? Because that's what I'm going for here.
No Think you should get plus points for that. I assume you are driving the 4wd understeering beast. Well at least it was in GT5 how does it handle in GT6?

@kendawg - I see you posted a time for the time trial but it is not showing your results. Did you create a room and start the event or did you just run for 20 minutes?

DTC Time Trial
Week 2

Maserati Gran Turismo S '08
@
Monza '80s

The car will of course be stock (PP - 496, HP - 461, Weight - 1780kg) and will run on Comfort Soft tires. The event will run from Wednesday - Tuesday. I want to keep this short and sweet so would like people to accept the gentleman's agreement that they will only spend 20 minutes on the time trial with no practice. This combo was chosen by @88GTA.

If you want to stop @tezgm99 from choosing the next Combo you need to do the following soon.

To run the event you need to do the following:
1. Go to the community section and go to the DTC Club (Club id: 1005073)
2. Go to the events and click on the current Time Trial
3. Create a room from the Time Trial event. This will create a room with all the correct settings and restrictions
4. Once in the room start the Race (Time Trial). This will give you 20 minutes to set your time
5. Once the event is done save your replay. Your results will automatically be posted to the event comments.
