Official tires for this season.

Scirocco...SM
Mustang...SS
NSX...SS
VW Concept...RH
I'll be sitting out Nsx race. Edit I raced yesterday in a room and we raced m3 with cs tires, mz those days racing cars that did not feel like I was on rails around whole track, I will race selected events with u guys but I'm going to start getting back to the lower grip rms. I know guys who are in 6-7 division in snail who could easily drive a car like the Nsx in sh sm tires, I know my opinion does not mean much but ss on Nsx is total over kill, this coming from a guy who uses x- on controller as throttle control

I hope to run a full season this time and try to knock ken off the perch. When does season 3 begin?
Can Parcells put some money on Grimm for season 3 whenever that begins?

Doing some pro-bono work hoping it might lead to managing Grimm's inevitable professional on-line racing career.

Tire selection is chosen so that the maximum number of drivers can have fun driving the car. Newer or less experienced drivers have no fun driving around 90 mins by themselves because they lost control in the first couple of laps.

This formula works in the other series you drive on Wednesdays but you haven't missed a race over there in awhile.

Many of us would like to drive these cars with 1-2 steps down in tires but it's just not good for this series with 40 min races in my opinion.

Ok fair, maybe get someone who has less pace and let them test combos and tires, wed night race cars with a lot of power u can get away with running more grip, I am skipping tcs on Tuesday for this season because rs tires on low pp car, I practiced it but every time I turned I kept crashing because it turned so good. Side note there are slower guys in snail like div 8, never heard then complain about not enought tire. Cya guys Sunday.

Of course they don't complain. They have plenty of tire on Sunday nights. 10 min races. The only people that complain on Sunday night snail is the D1 and D2 guys because they have too much tire.

You were D1 for a little while right?

We can spar all night if you want. I can run the NSX on CS tires if everyone agrees.

Why don't we have a tire vote along with track vote?

I don't mind stepping down from trying to make decisions to avoid the headache. I can just shut up and race which might give me more free time :)

So you pick tires. No biggie. I can rock CS tires all night.

Running dpad is easier to control on harder tires btw. Don't act like it's a handicap.

Srry I'm a headache, I'm just very passionate about raceing, cars anything with an engine, I only speak how I feel because I enjoy this group, I've already said if u guys need any help let know
no headaches. Getting something like tires right is hard. I personally would run every car with a tire one harder than it comes with. But that does not make the best racing with a group with mixed skill.

I also encourage you to race regardless if you think it is the right tire. Can you imagine a F1 driver sitting out a race because their car has too much grip. Granted this is not real racing and we are here to have fun. If the NSX on SS will be no fun for you then don't race. But also please do not make a big deal about it.

We mostly are here to have fun. To race with a group of guys we trust and get to poke fun of. Surely that is more important than what we race.

I am just jealous that you all actually get to race. Be glad you are not in my shoes of not being able to find people to race at a time that is convenient for me.

Hopefully everyone votes so we can get the official tracks posted so we can get some practice in tonight.

Voting will close at 8:00pm Eastern tonight. That way I can get the results posted by 9:00. If you have voted thank you. If you have not please do so!

If it was only about D1 & D2 choice you could see the numbers of racers getting low. I like the tires setting even if I'm not good. Ice W

if one of the aspect is to bring pit strategy into the mix for when and how often to pit, you have to run a softer tire to get any ware on them. Even on very fast, low pp cars are easy on fuel and tires. Since to can't make a smaller fuel tank, the only other way to force a pit stop is to run on softer tires. It's a challenge I have had to work within rcs and rcs for many seasons.
