Didn't we used to.open up the range to 10% when the pp dipped really low?
I think we did at one point. I am liking the wildcard idea better since most people want to keep the PP around the middle. The 2pt penalty may be enough to keep it interesting for someone that goes with all four Drivetrains.

Also Sorry I have not updated the lineup. I will try to do that tonight. Going forward I was wanting to have one of the key participants create a thread that would hold the event details. That way they could be updated and the OP of this thread would simply link to the event. That would help divide the work needed. I wanted to talk to you and @88GTA about this but not had the time.

Finally. I should be around thursday. Would anyone like to try the idea that @kendawg mentioned of running a PP cap event but using just one track for all four races? If any one is interested let me know. The first to say they can attend can pick the track the second can choose the PP. For simplicity they can choose one of these PP's 1950, 1800, 1650, 1500. I figure that gives us over 320 possible combinations while allowing casual participants the need to only have 4 lineups ready. This might make it easier for someone to try out the DTC!

Sounds good. Just let me know what pp you go with. If Thursday isn't good I'd be down for Sunday too.

Tuesday Race Night
(Event will take place in a friends only room)

11/4/2014 at 9:30 PM EST/ 6:30 pm PST

This event will run with a combined PP of:
1455 (CS)
All cars PP must be between 346 and 382

Qualifying and the first race will take place at

Deep Forest

For this PP range you have the option of running a Wildcar(d). You may replace the 4wd drivetrain with one of the other three options. Taking this option will cost you 2pts from your over all score.

If you would like to participate in the next event please post in this thread that you would like to take part. I will add your name to the list. You can also add your name and car lineup to the

sign up sheet

I'm in for Thursday this week. How about 1950pp no race/rally cars?

@kendawg can pick the track for the night.

Tonight's lineup:
FF - Suzuki Swift '05 361pp
4WD - Honda Odyssey '03 348pp
FR - Mazda Eunos Roadster V-Special '93 367pp
MR - MG F '97 378pp

I had to buy all those cars yesterday except the Swift.

1650 straight up for next Tuesday. No racers, rally or concepts.

And definitely no FF, FR, MR or 4WD cars...

That last part was a joke.

OK guys, tonight will be an open lobby in an attempt to find a few more clean racers. Since Thursdays are practice/testing anyway and we will be at the same track for the night, it should make things a little less complicated.

We will be running a 1950pp total with no race/rally cars. Concepts and prototypes are OK. These restrictions do not apply to your FF car due to the limitations in this PP range.

All cars must be between 463pp and 512pp on sports soft tires. Tire wear will be set to normal and we will vote on the track which will be used for qualifying and all four races.

Is everyone OK with a 9:30pm EST start or do we need to push it out to 10pm? The sign-up sheet on our spreadsheet is updated in case you want to make a lineup.

I'm in for tonight with, hopefully, less connection issues. I played open lobbies last night with no issue at least. Is there a sign up sheet some where?

Sounds good. I was talking about the "Sign-up" tab in Joby's spreadsheet here. 9:30pm EST works for you?

Preliminary line up for tonight. I'll update the sheet later:
Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 Base Model '08 FF 484
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RS '03 4W 486
Lotus Esprit V8 GT '98 MR 489
Opera Performance 350Z '04 FR 491

After looking at the FF choices in the PP range, it looks like a race/rally car are the only options. I'm not sure what the Trial Celica is considered (maybe tuner?) but we will have to allow race/rally cars for the FFs.
