That's perfectly fine. In fact, I'll probably have a little something for the best Road driver and the best Oval driver, for those who just want to stick to one side.

I'm planning on joining this, but unfortunately, I'm the last person on the planet that still has not picked up his copy of GT6 yet. I should be active in GT6 by Xmas, then I just have a little catching up to do. :D

After the first race at Brands I tweaked my setup, but forgot to put on Mediums, so I was still on Hards and I liked it a lot better than the first race.

However, I did like the wear better on Mediums, which I feel would be better for s shorter race. Perhaps we can split it up and go with Mediums for short races and Hards for longer races?

I like that idea as it changes the tires wear rate whilst keeping fuel the same. 👍

I'd be able to do the end of the series, new connection coming in about March time, so should be able to make a few races at least.

I may make the 100 km Road races into 150 km races. Other than that, I like it.

Guys I found this leafing through the GT6 forum. Notice something different?

@Furinkazen, that image is either too small or too big.

EDIT: Nvm, by going to the original post's location I was able to view it. And I've got to say, if they're going to include backmarkers in the game, then where's Nemechek and friends?

track creator comes out in January? sounds like it will be pretty easy to create our own custom oval tracks, so I can see that schedule changing depending on how good created tracks can/will be.

Interested in joining, but as a part time as I can't make around half the races.

Is there going to be weather change during races?

I'm holding my breath on Track Creator until I see it. Maybe for a season 2. Maybe.

I would like to join as a part timer.
Whats the min weight?
I don't even think you can lighten the cars, can you? The only things that are regulated are Horsepower and Tires, since you can't add parts to the cars.

No weather. Tracks that force weather (Silverstone for example) will have it set to 10% and fixed.

Has anyone done solo testing around Daytona yet?

I'm currently in the low 49's atm.

Sign ups will be live by the weekend. Car selection will be after that, once I figure out how many people are committing for full time.

I just noticed last night that the 2013 cars have the same weight as the 2011 and 2010 cars, so i may do some testing, and provided they arent several tenths faster, have all of the part timers use them and be 'independants.' While full timers use the 2013 cars and be on teams.

Just did a bit of slipstream testing. While in a 2-car tandem with "Real" the speeds were 6-7mph slower than with "Weak".

This should make the racing much more realistic, and we could even add some power too.

Apricot Hill would be really cool. Maybe even at night since the whole track is lit up. Although quite dark in a few spots so maybe at dusk. But since it's new it would be a nice addition. I love Spa but for Nascar it's kind of long and full of itself. Lol. And yes, the new "Real" slipstream option has turned what I knew about drafting in Nascar on its head. So much better. No more last second passes coming out of 4 @ Daytona.

Willow might be little too narrow? Apricot is fine.

I didn't like Willow all that much when testing, as cool a track as it is. I wanted Apricot Hill, but couldn't find room for it. Brands seems to be popular, and I figured Spa would make a good race. If anything I'll drop either Spa or Bathurst to fit it in.

And the 2013 Montoya car was >.2 faster than the 2011 Montoya car at Daytona with identical setup. Guess Independents wont be using those.

I want to host another test session on Saturday. Same time. Focusing mainly on Daytona and to a lesser extent, SSRX.
