Thank you to everyone who filed incident reports this week. Please remember that YOU are responsible for the clean racing in this league. If YOU don't submit incident reports for things that should be reported then YOU aren't helping to promote clean racing. And if you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem! Clean racing doesn't just happen.. It takes respect, accountability, and the responsibility to point out when someone is not driving cleanly.
Please reply to this post if you agree or disagree with this statement.
Thanks to everyone who replied to my earlier post. I mainly just wanted to raise the awareness of how important filing incidents is to keeping our league clean. 👍

I agree with this statement, just wish i had the time.
One thing I would recommend is to just write, type, or thumb out the race number after any race where you suspect an OLR violation happened. That way you don't have to try to remember when the incident happened later on and you don't have go searching through multiple replays to find what you're looking for. As for the filling out the incident report itself, that literally takes less than a minute so not having time is not really a valid excuse IMHO.

Well said, Sire. I have a hard time pointing a finger at other drivers, when I know my race-craft is lacking.
I know firsthand that you're knowledge of racecraft is top notch. Therefore, I'm guess that what you're trying to say is that sometimes what you want to do on the track isn't always what ends up happening. If that's the case, then please know that that's the case for everyone. The quest to apply your knowledge of racecraft onto the track is exactly that.. a quest. It's a quest that can never truly be completed, but the journey itself is the fun part. :)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone lacks racecraft to a certain extent in those terms, so please don't think that filing incident is viewed as claim of having superior racecraft over someone else or that you never make mistakes yourself. Filing incidents is simply a way for us to keep each other accountable on the track. 👍

Freaking remarkable!!! I hadn't realized what happened until I went to deal with the race data. @Handlebar not only covered scorekeeping last Sunday but also "handled" the data as well!! Dude, thank you so much! (and nice job!!). I really needed that leg up tonight... I will most assuredly be on the grid next Sunday!! From just looking at the data, I really missed out on some great racing!! Oh, and Handlebar, make sure you collect your $hells for data entry this week!

It's the time I need to be in and when I get home which is one hour before the deadline, so if I wore a younger mans pants I could hustle it up a, I'll try!

after practicing for a bit tonight my opinion regarding the combos is that both Golf and Elise are dislocated. They're both good fun cars to race but these two tracks seem too big or too wide for them. I would prefer shorter and more technical tracks like Rome, GVE or Cape Ring Inside for these babies.
Now if you excuse me, i'm going to sleep.

I'm putting up a F1 photography book for sale!
513EX7DDKKL._SX258_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg

It is a great book with 400 pages of full color photographs covering 25 years of F1 from 1969 to 1993. It has chapters containing Drivers, design, tyres, technology, Faces, helmets, and Grand Prix 1969-1993.
The book is written in 4 languages; German, English, French, and Spanish and has a preface by Ayrton Senna. The photographer is Rainer W. Schlegelmilch and writer is Hartmut Lehbrink.

It will be sold as an auction and there is no minimum bid and no reserve price!

Proper Bidding Etiquette
If you want to place a bid our outbid someone else, please clearly state how many $hells you are bidding and what you're bidding on. It is also preferred if your bid post is in reply to the original listing (if you're the first bidder) or in reply to the highest current bid (if you're outbidding someone else). As an example, a simple reply of "I bid __ $hells for the _____" would be sufficient. 👍

IMPORTANT: Do not bid more $hells than the number of $hells you currently own.

How To Win
Once someone's bid lasts for 24 hours without being outbid by somebody else, the auction will close and the highest bidder will be declared the winner. I will then mail the lucky SNAIL the book.

HAPPY BIDDING AND GOOD LUCK!! :)

I'm in! I bid 10 $hells

I have to disagree with you, Mr. Schimggy as it allows you to compete without worrying about walls, buildings or human barricades and because it's wide, LESS PENALTIES, well that's the premise.

Approach your corner, gently apply the brake as you approach and apply more brake ahead of your turn-in then let off before the turn-in and Point your inside to the apex (LOOK WHERE YOU WANT TO GO, NOT WHERE YOU ARE) be right with brake/gas, keep your eye in the mirror prior to your approach!!!

(the trick is to let up the brake and apply throttle) harmoniously! Upsetting the balance of the car WILL put you where you don't want to be.
don't try to much and you'll be surprised!

Fast in is not good with these ones!!!

I was not a fan of the Skyline at Nurburgring... to much understeer plus the boring acceleration of AWD = no fun for me. The GTI at Silverstone was pretty sweet though!

Some hopefully constructive comments on the new combos

Pros
1. Three different drivetrains:tup:
2. Nice PP range 430/504/568
3. Both the GTI and R32 feel much better to me than they did in GT5 especially he GTI.

Cons
1. All cars on racing hard
2. The GTI has way too much grip for its power. I think it will promote close racing but few passing opportunities

This is is just my $.02 so take it or leave it

Just ran a few laps.... Thanks @K1utch now everyone will know how bad I am in a 4wd car! lol... A bit skeptical on my lap times... The Golf however immediately reminds me of BTCC... I think we will have some paint being traded here and there, especially on silverstone international... it's gonna be tight like Rubb'ns racin'

I haven't seen it yet, but I think the R32 GT-R is going to look stunning when I get a hold of one and put my colors on it. (Blue on the front, black on the rear with gold wheels is my idea of car porn.)

Also, the Golf TC will be referred to as "Golfie" from now on. :P

Hey guys. Realy dialinng in on the gtr. Looks like 1:57s are indeed possible in it. I'm right now going absolutely deep with experimenting in it. Anybody else close to this revion of time?

Wvhellbilly and myself said the same thing about the grip with the GTI when we were practicing it before I picked it. However we both had the same feeling that the urge for a good front wheel drive car with some good close racing overcame our feelings of the grip. Should be fun to drive in race conditions. :)
