You don't have to complete you 10 laps before caution, they can be completed in any order. However for tracks like La Sarthe and Nurburgring, all I ask is you finish 10 laps irregardless of pit in/out or caution.

Also cautions periods will start at the Porsche sign at the exit of Arnage and will end at Tetra Rouge, once the lead car has hit the apex of Tetra Rouge they are free to start the race. :)

Sorry to be a pain but just to be clear, are you saying that you must complete 10 laps on each tire. For example, if you start the race on Race Hard, you must be on lap 11 (or beyond) before you can enter the pits and change your tires? This will come into play in tonights race for the GT guys as we will be under caution at the end of lap 10 therefore if we start the race on RH tires, we will not be able to change to RS tires during the first caution. Just trying to be clear on my pit strategy and to make sure everyone takes this into account. please confirm. Thanks

Sorry for the confusion, you have to complete 10 laps on each compound(unless it rains) during the entirety of the race. So if you want to do 5 laps at the beginning and 5 later on in the race that's perfectly fine. :)

Thanks for making that clear. I hope all the GT guys read this as it will come into play for some strategies

so if you split the stint you would actually have to complete 14 laps on each tire?
1 out lap, 5 laps that count, 1 pit lap

does Lap 1 count as it is not an out lap?

If I start on a tire, pit once and enter the pit on the end of lap 10, is that acceptable? or do i need to run a complete lap and pit on the end lap 11?

does the pit being located after the SF line have an effect on this?

Just wanted to repost this for anyone who isn't sure how cautions will work tonight.

For tracks like Le Sarthe and the Nurburgring, we don't worry about in/out and caution laps not counting toward that since we won't complete quite as many laps. Unless it is stated otherwise, caution laps and in/out laps count toward the tire rules.

Thank you so much! I'll get everything up to date tomorrow once Le Mans is over.

Had lots of fun tonight. Ended better than i thought was going to finish around 3rd place in the GT class. Congratulations to JWalker for winning in the LMP class and Congratulations to Nick for winning in the GT Class.

Great race tonight. Tough with the rain but still had a blast. Nice overall win to JWalker and to Nice for the GT class win.

So looking forward to next week and plan in being in the Vette!

@cmbeal317 - Can you confirm which version we are running next week? I wont have much seat time prior to the race and want to do some testing while I have the time. Thanks

We're running the full 24 Hour circuit next week.

I need to check the cars and see if any of them need balanced, but the preliminary car list(more may be added) will be as follows:

SP9(GT3 specs):
GT-R Nismo GT3(Schulze Motorsport and Base Moded)
R8 LMS Ultra(Team Phoenix and unpainted)
Z4 GT3
SLS AMG GT3
R8 LMS - Team Oreca

SP3:
Scirocco GT24(VW Motorsport and Base Model)
Integra Type R (DC5) Touring Car

For the next time...The viper was grossly underpowered as the BMWs "out handled "us on the straights by probably 10 to 30 car lengths on the middle portion of the Mulsanne. Which makes 5 cents win all that more cool. NOt too shabby in the Porsche Curves though.

Question :three times now I have had the pit option menu "flash" by me with my having to take what the idiot program dishes out. Is there a wAy to "get the menu back" when it does this.

Also I raced the Sirocco last season in another Series..and if I NEVER see it again its too soon. Absolute tire hog.

sp3 suggestion:

Toyota ALTEZZA Touring Car

Spoon S2000 Race Car
Opera Performance S2000 '04
Mazda6 Touring Car
BMW 320i Touring Car '03
Lexus Lexus IS 200 GT-1 '04

It sure was slower on the straight ,but I think it was ok.The viper has more downforce than the BMW, I'm sure it was faster in the 2nd part of the circuit.

Yeah but numbnuts here didn't figure that out until after the rain when I went a second faster on intermediates than I did on softs..remember everything is relative...especially when you are in the learning process.

Sadly, I will not make this weeks race (unless Fanatec is extremely quick). During some practice, the belt on my wheel broke and I have no FFB so until I can get a replacement belt, I will be sitting in the garage/pits (so to speak).

Sorry for not racing last Saturday, my house is under remodelation, I cannot even connect the ps3 because it is all a mess here, bit if I have time, I'd like to race the Scirocco Racecar

I will be racing on Saturday. I don't care what I have to do, I'm not missing this race! Once the BoP numbers come out I'll announce a car selection.

I have ordered a replacement wheel and it "should" be here this week. Once I get the confirmed delivery date(tracking number) later today, I'll be able to confirm my spot.

After a few weeks the points are finally correct in the first post as of the last race at Tokyo R246, and we're still waiting on a track choice for the final race of the season which will be held on June 28th.

The car list has been decided upon for the 2 Hours of Nurburgring and will be posted right away. Following that will be the signup sheet for the race. :)
