Had a blast tonight in the new season with the Megane Trophy Base Model '11. Was surprised when Ken dropped and then Adventuruss had to go. Qualified 6th, finished 3rd. Can't wait for next week's endurance. Great Racing to everyone.

I'm unsure of exactly how I'm going to score the race, as it's only set up for 16 points. I have put in the results for both caution periods and pole positions, and I'm pretty sure I'll keep it that way. As for finishing points the scoring only goes up to 16 points. I don't want to overhaul the points system, especially if we only have 2 rooms for a couple of nights. I think in this case, the minimum points you'll be able to receive will be "0". For cautions and pole position's they will be accounted for each room. Please let me know how you feel about this option, and if you have any suggestions to make this better.

Give everyone below the normal level one point just for being there it is not their fault that we have over 16 participants. This will encourage them to continue.

I'm glad we all got to race too! It was a tough call, but I think we managed okay!

I was thinking about something like that as well. I think we'll go with that as it's a much better idea then leaving them without nothing.

At the link below you can find the results for the season, and this will be updated every race as it's where I input all the data.

A few things to note:

- The columns "Total Laps" and "Total Time" will be used mainly when we have to split into two rooms
- The spreadsheet is only setup to calculate points for 16 drivers, places 17 and on will start at 0 points and then go into the negatives
- I feel that everyone should at least get points for participation, and if you happen to place in 17th or lower position you will receive 1 participation point(this could possibly increase)
- The participation points will be added in the in "Adjustments" column and will show in the overall standings, but not in the standings for each individual race

Wow that total time was real close for both rooms, I shouldn't have coasted into the caution laps

If we get 2 rooms again, we should have some sort of qualifying and end up with a div1/2 sorta split - closer racing for everyone.

That is how the FGTA WGTC is run. Two rooms...Pro in one and Am in the other. At the end of the season the am winner goes up and the Last Pro driver goes down. Just like big boy "football " in the UK.
