Great idea. I would love to be able to join but unfortunately I have to do inventory at my West LA location starting at 4 PM. I cannot commit as I don't think I will be home by the time the race starts. If I am, and there is room, I will definitely join. Hopefully I will be able to join.

I am currently in the process of setting up our club in the new community section of GT6. If all goes well, we will continue to use this as our base for starting the room. I have the club set to private, but this still allows me to invite people who are not on my friend's list. The room will be opened in the club lobby section, so look there to join the lobby. As usual, the room will open approximately at 9:30ET.

I just did a room test for the club events. Once the room is opened you cannot change any settings for the event. I will have more testing done tomorrow along having multiple rooms and if you need to be signed up for an event before it starts.

Don't do Club "Events". Whomever plans to host the room, just open a Club Lobby. You can have as many of those as you want and make changes to them as you wish, when you wish.

Race Format:
Following the release of GT6 update 1.07, we will now be running 2 hour races as opposed to predetermined laps. There will be 2 set caution periods( First suggested by S.N.A.I.L. Founder zer05ive) during the race, at a predetermined time, that totals 2 laps of caution each period. That will be your break if you decide to get up for a pee or anything else.
Cautions:
Example: The race is 2 hours long. The 1st caution will be at 40 minutes from the start of the race, and the second will start at 80 minutes from the start of the race.
When the leader of the race crosses the start/finish line they will hit the pause button and type "caution" so everyone knows that the race is now under caution. This will enable the computer to put your car at caution pace. You are able to catch up to the leaders during the caution but when you catch up, please hit your pause button at least three car lengths to car in front of you to begin caution pace( use your judgment).
If you are lap(s) down, you can drive past the leaders, at full race speed, to get your lap(s) back. But if you get your lap(s) back and you catch up to the leaders, you must hit your pause button to maintain caution speed with everyone else.
The race will resume at the last turn of most all tracks. This will help prevent slamming into each other prior to the restart at the start/finish line.
Pitting:
The normal SPEC rules will still be in effect. You must change compounds at least once during the race. (Racing hard and soft will still be the compounds).
Caution laps DO NOT count toward the tire compound regulations below.
You CAN pit during the caution laps but you cannot come out of the pits and gain a position on the cars that did not pit. If you do happen to come out of the pits in front of someone who did not pit, you are to slow up and take position at the rear of the field of cars that did not pit. If you gain a position on someone who pitted with you, that is okay. So, pit strategy will be key and will definitely come into play..
Tire Regulations:
- Racing Hard and Racing Soft
- Racing Intermediate and Rain allowed only during wet conditions
- Must run at least 10 Laps on each tire compound
- Pit Out laps and caution laps do not count toward minimum laps

This is based on the room open for 16 racers.(No point adjustment for how many racers are racing to keep it simple)

So we are able to have a race each Saturday(minus holidays), I ask that we have the track and car combos decided upon by at least Wednesday. If the track you pick has weather and or time change make sure to chose that when you pick your track. Once the schedule has been posted above you cannot change this. This way we have time to test the car out and figure out the laps out and shuffle the tracks up.
