I want to thank everyone that has participated with the Lotus Challenge. I don't have the points tally ready yet, and I'm planning on getting that up tomorrow morning(hopefully), along with rolling out the new changes for our next season! Thanks again to everyone who raced and helped get this league going. I personally never thought that this would grow like it did, and I'm glad to have all the great racers we do. Once again a big thanks to everyone for making this a very enjoyable way to spend Saturday nights.

Now onto the important changes to the league...


First up is our new points and prize system

Division 1:
1st - 28 Points
2nd - 27 Points
3rd - 26 Points
4th - 25 Points
5th - 24 Points
6th - 23 Points
7th - 22 Points
8th - 21 Points

11th - 18 Points
12th - 17 Points

Division 2:
1st - 14 Points

In addition, one point will be given to the pole sitter in each division.

At the end of each season everyone will be put together in a list and the top 6 drivers will be awarded the opportunity to pick out the new car and tracks for the next season. The prize system is as follows:

1st Overall - Car for next season
2nd Overall - Track for next season
3rd Overall - Track for next season
4th Overall - Track for next season
5th Overall - Track for next season
6th Overall - Track for next season

To eliminate the possibility of someone picking a track that the car chosen for each season would be hard to drive on(for example and Le Mans Prototype on Autumn Ring), the tracks will be chosen in order of points, then the 1st place finisher will be allowed to pick the car. So we are able to have a race each Saturday(minus holidays), I ask that we have the track and car combos decided upon by at least Wednesday. This way I have time to test the car out and figure out the laps out and shuffle the tracks up.


Next up is our new system for driver applications, the time trial, and promotion/relegation.

Application procedure:

1. GTP/PSN ID
2. Car/ Wheel Color(Optional)
3. Racing Number(Optional)

After you have done that you will need to complete the time trial, and PM your fastest time to me. I will then let you know where you'll be racing for your first night.


Time Trial:
All current members and all future members will be asked to complete a time trial. This is so we can determine where new members will be placed for their S.P.E.C. debuts. Once you have completed the time trial please PM your final result to me. For current members this will not effect your position, I would just like some times to base the new guys off of.

The time trial is:
Arcade Mode - Time Trial
Track - Trial Mountain
Car - Arcade Only list BMW M3 Coupe '07
Tires - Sports Medium
All aids off except for ABS
Grip Reduction - Real

Promotion and Relegation:
Promotion and relegation will happen every week, and will cross between seasons. At the end of each race everyone's time will be entered into one list to divided the divisions for the next week. Divisions should be announced around 10Pm EDT on Friday night. If you won't be able to attend please try and let me know before then so I can determine the cutoff for the division, this is to ensure that we have an even field on Saturday night. If something does come up after the divisions have been announced please let us know. If you notify us after the divisions have been posted, your spot will be held until next week, this also applies to anyone who gets dropped to connections issues during the race.
