Racing at night at nurb is extremely difficult. I believe the standings are going to get shaken up. Im fast in the day here but brutal at night. Hoping and praying to slip away with a top 5

You will need to be a littl better than that:) you gotta carry us in Round 6

You know what i am gonna take a little extended vacation from this series just because things have come up and i need to focus on those things a little more. Hope to see you guys in the next season but i don't know what will happen.

I will be picking for the upcoming season so don't kick me out of my picking order just because i might miss the first couple races.

Have fun and see you on the other side.

Sounds like Jake got grounded for having a dirty bedroom. :)

Know what, im a little pissed off too. My first 2 seasons i struggled and finished last but had fun and didnt worry too much about it, just kept working on my tuning and doing the best i could. Now i have the right car at the right time and am doing well and people are dropping, quitting, complaining about their cars and just giving up. It is taking the fun out of it for me to the point that i almost hope for a crappy car next season so the people who are only having a good time if they're winning can just go back to winning. I have fun regardless and am used to finishing in the back so i'll just go back to that so everything is right again in the gt1 universe.

Enjoy. Thats what im using if anyone wants to give it a go. All credit goes to my guy @Highlandor and his tuning garage HaB tunes. His tunes are very stable and drivable even for a ds3 user like myself.

Awesome! KG you should look into his tuning garage maybe get some ponies out of that big old boss!

Whitey, your setup is counter productive. I suggest to reset and start over. It promotes a very loose rear grip to me.

On another note, the Vette is at its best ever. However, my pit crew keeps shorting me on gas in the race and I'm forced to pull in at the end.

It can be quite loose at times, ive adjusted settings here and there at each track but this is my starting point each race. I tend to use @Motor City Hami 's tuning advice in the tuning thread to diagnose and fine tune everything. It has worked pretty well so far this season. We will see what next season brings however.

I don't want you thinking I'm 'leaving' because you have such an amazing car this season. It is quite the opposite i enjoy the challenge of trying to chase you down, also i never throw in he towel on a race no matter how much i screw the thing up. Nurburgring was a good indication of this:)

Hi Whitey...

I'm quite shocked the setups are still useful, some of them must be quite a few updates old, some are probably still from the very first Version of the game.

Just before my wheel gave up, I used some of my favourite 450pp FR cars, there was an update which changed the feel of the setup I'd always used on those cars, so I pretty much figured most of the setups would be fairly useless.

I guess the only saving grace is that many of the setups were middle ground, designed to be adjusted for different driving styles / tyres etc.

Good to see you're getting your head around adjusting them / tuning in general 👍

Keep rockin' amigo :D

I dont know why you are taking an absense and im not aiming at you directly but there has been a lot of graoning in general and the car count drops each race. Whether it has anything to do with the fact that its been you, legend and myself hogging the podium or not, it is still less fun with less people and less fun when some cry foul about the cars. I had a better time fighting for 10th and digging with everything i had then ive had this season running up front. Please dont take it personal though im just venting my frustration.

It's actually quite common with in GT1 to have people dropping off towards the end of the season. Mainly due to the idea that "I can't win the championship so why bother". I love the fact that you are a win, lose or draw I don't care as long as I'm having fun type of guy.

Where our staple of @thorracing went is the part that worries me! I miss racing him.

I believe there are a few more enduro rooms as of late for GT6. @thorracing has been in other events with me. I like enduro race and want to learn more of the setup and race management features that come with enduro racing. As for next season, I am already testing but how I pick a car may not be up to me, or one that is the best. I will say this that the BOP this season was wide. The vette is no slouch, but having the lowest HP and PRO weight is overkill just because I race in D1. I got to D1 because of points not podiums. Please even the BOP based on car facts not SNAIL divisions. IMO

We never have based BoP due to people in just one division. We split the division's as a whole and the higher divisions will get the higher weight were the lower divisions get lower weight to be able to keep up with the quick guys.

Also if the people in Pro who are fast in a stock car can't keep up with the tuners in Pro they will usually get moved down to see how they do. And Vice-versa

To elaborate on what jake said, Your car was set based on just a few tests done by me. It was not done with you in mind. Seeing how it ran this season it will be getting 5 more HP and the Camaro will be losing HP for the next time we use them. I was hoping to get more guys like war, legend and the like to open us up to 3 divisions but it never panned out.

As for you being in Pro that is based on your performance if you had of been a crap tastic tuner you would have been moved down to pro-am. You are a good solid tuner who makes great strides in a car that is hard to deal with.

As for picks you will most likely be picking third seeing as schmed is 36 points behind you :)

Gotta keep it in perspective when you're down. I feel like my race craft is getting better. But, I too have a busy summer schedule. I think we had 10 last night. That's not bad. Also, I really like the discussion of tuning in the main thread here. I think that's a trend that needs to continue.

I appreciate the comments @Die_Birdy_Die and @Xradkins however my absence is due to the mid-week racing, it interfered with my performance at work on Thursday's and my friend/boss said so!

I held both hands out, non paying online racing in one and very good paying job in the other.
Job won!

I found a league that runs on Friday nights and I don't work weekends.

This Friday night we'll run on the Mountain Down Under!

in practice and (by my self), I knocked off two seconds and one more tonight, how? a little trick I learned without actually seeing it done from guess who?

If you Guessed @TEX36 , then you have passed the "I'm smarter than a 5th grader test"
Congratulations!

run, tweak, run, tweak, run, tweak and do it ALONE!

OK, but from what I see around this series, is that most everyone is a D1-D3 (PRO). LOL

Yeah X, i think at this point we should all have the same weight. Im going to run pro weight this week. I think its the right thing to do. I just got moved to amateur because i struggled my first 2 seasons but i am d2 on sundays so should be in pro probably anyway.
