The entire concept was based on all classes mixing it up and actually having fun racing together....which we do...if the laughing during the racing means anything. Spread the word.
Hello, I'm new to league racing. Would like to ask what are your best lap times at tsukuba with the chicane in the Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package) '89?
Lap times really don't matter - as we run with the Boost turned On to keep us grouped together. This activity was designed to help work on Race Craft and enjoyment. We focus on Clean racing - door to door as much as possible.
We have Learners and GT Academy Finalists running together - so we can all learn from each other.
Hope to see you around the tracks.
That's the problem. I live in France, meaning I would have to wake up at 3AM to race with you guys, so I wanted to see whether I had at least the standard (in pure driving) to race with you guys.

Well, bonjour (sp?). I admire your consideration of joining us at that time of "morning". But, really, a lap time is of no concern.
Please join us one time and "check it out". You'll know soon enough if it is something to sacrifice for.
I should be able to wake up at 3AM and race with you guys next week, I just have a few questions:Salut, Vitessekid.
There's no trouble at all. Tex, the nice gentleman above, is a lot faster than me, but because the boost is on, it isn't a problem. I raced with him and with other very fast dudes and everyone is packed together for the whole race. Even if you muck something up, it usually takes one or two laps to erase whatever deficit you have and be back with the pack.
It's a whole lot of fun, even at 0300.
A bientôt,
Felipe
I should be able to wake up at 3AM and race with you guys next week, I just have a few questions:
1. How does the boost system work?
As long as you stay on the track, after an off-track excursion, the program miraculously gives you lap times that are bringing you closer to the pack in big chunks of seconds. At one timing point you may be 15 sec behind. By the next - it may show that you are only 10 or 11 sec behind. Don't know how it works, but it does.
2. What is a SNAIL Division?
SNAIL is an online racing league utilizing GT-6, and hopefully GT-7. You can read all about our league, rules, divisions, etc. at
◆ SNAIL [Spec] Racing - Congrats and Good Luck to the 10 SNAILs going to GT Academy National Finals!
If you go to GTPlanet.net. (I don't know how to insert a link for you, sorry)
Which division am I in?
You will read about the Division determinations in the above referenced Thread. The first page or so will tell you about the league. And, no one expects you to read al 91,00O+ posts. Our league has been together a looooooong time.
3. Does my body and wheel color have to be different from others?
(See answer to #2). Each division operates best if each driver has a certain color for his cars and wheels.
4. Are there practice sessions for the 2 given tracks?
As for Pack racing on Monday nights, we learn about which tracks are selected not long before it all starts. Emphasis is on learning to drive in close proximity- not necessarily on winning. No scores are tallied or kept record of each night. Points don't matter.
Hope to race with you guys soon
