I am out early. I will explain that in a minute. I wanted to start this post saying how just flat out awesome the D6 gang is. The two and a quarter races I got to participate in were truly what SNAIL stands for. The driving that I witnessed tonight was brilliant and mature. Mayhem took the form of a simian perched in my wheelhouse disguised as lag. Tex saw it first and I am pretty sure some of the contact issues throughout the field were caused by my connection and the lag issues. I am really sorry to all of you that I effected tonight. Sometimes you have to black flag your own team for the greater good!

It has been a trying season. Between mechanical issues and personnel with attitude problems my race team in disarray. It seems that I will be having a team meeting over the break and getting all of our collective manure in one sock. I think the February season is going to be pretty epic for this race camp.

Thanks to all of D6 for what was to be a banner night of racing! See you all in two weeks for more classic racing!!

Thank you all in D7 for a fun night. Sorry for the terrible error, Handlebar, will not happen again.

How does this look? Dare I say "Comments from everyone are welcome"

Alternative 1:
I moved the track information to the bottom. There are still two lines at the top, but I think it looks a little better than previous. To remove the "clutter" a bit more I reduced the size of the track map and slot it in under the track logo. In this way we will have more freedom with photos. The car(s) can basically be anywhere in the picture and I can crop the photo in way to make it work. There might be opinions that it is a "Combo" and both the track and car should be clearly represented. Let's see the comments and we will go from there.

Alternative 2:
Same changes as above, except that the track map is as before

Alternative 3:
Small track map and large track logo

Thanks for creating those alternative versions! It looks like I'm in the minority, but I like the Alternative 2 the best. However, I do agree with others in that Alternative 1 will give the most flexibility and creativity with the photographs. And it that inspires more banner photographs to be submitted, then that's certainly not a bad thing. :)

Even more appreciated, is handling it right once you know what the specifics are - immediately.

The new guys weren't perfect - it was better than that. New guys who knew almost all the 'rules' and the VERY minor ones, they immediately did all the right things. I'm still not asleep - it was that much fun.

Hello there! I would like to join SNAIL league if possible.
My PSN is lobsterfede
time zone: CET (Italy)

@fedelobster

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
