Pictures from D7 - C1R1. Not a lot happened overall for the lead but there are still some great shots to be had. Still haven't taken pictures of the rest of the field for the race or done any other race at all. Take awhile!

Great start with lots of tire smoke

Three wide into Turn 1 was a bit careless but Trucker made his own mistake irregardless of my slight bump on Shrump. We all got through safely and still within close proximity.

The field separates a bit and I slowly gain on Trucker. Some laps go by chasing down the leader.

Until I mess up the penultimate corner on Lap 6 and Shrump gains on me.

Seriously getting close.

I did say it was getting close right?

Then this happened on Lap 7 of 7:

And Shrump stayed on my tail the rest of the lap to make sure I didn't have an easy win.

If your Tuesday is too quiet turn up your speakers for this!

Spent many a day there on the picnic blanket with hamper of goodies from Harrods watching insane cars with even more insane drivers destroy (shred actually) the peaceful countryside.. Hill climbing in the UK is an ART. Wish we did it here like they do it there (all over Europe really). Thanks for the memories.

I wonder if you guys missed the bright yellow peril on Sunday.

It will get faster the next time. I was able to do 12 drivers in 35 minutes.
I'm also doing photos at the same time. Next time I will hopefully be in the basement on my new rig! I will have to write everything down on paper then come upstairs to the computer and type it all in.

Man I hope data gets me a lot of shells that thing takes forever!

4 $hells I believe, which is actually one of the highest payouts you can get. Unless of course you start reviewing IR's

Take pics with your cell phone. I usually snap a pic after every race and quali on Sunday. Then I do the same during the week to get the rest of the data.

I've seen a particular person do data for his entire division, at the time 13 drivers, in less than 20 minutes. He got distracted watching replays too.

Tootles......

Urban Dictionary
toodle-loo. Archaic american form of 'goodbye'. It derives from the french expression "a tout a l'heure" meaning "see you later", and came into vogue in the US ...

Mike had been behind Aero for the majority of one of our 20 minute races Last Night in the Pack Attack....these two Aviation minded Canadians have a bit of a very friendly needle match. Well Aero fell off as we chatted ( I was ridding with him because I had backed out of the race because one of my 100 pound canines had stood on the TB audio controller and shut off all game sound) . As Mike blasted past the stationary Aero and his passenger....he commented Toodles....We all broke up...and most of us fell off....it is VERY hard to be precise while completely breaking up...especially at the Nordschleife.

I don't have a cell (nor do I want one) I tried with my camera last night but the view finders grainy!

lol Yeah I watch the entire race. When i see a shot I want i have to watch the entire sector a few times (Because Gran Turismos stupid like that) to make sure it's not an IR. And that it's a pass worth the photo! so it took me 2 hours or so!

Data typically takes me about 25-30 minutes. I take pictures of qually and race results, and enter gaps, total time, and starting order from those, while replays load up. I only use replays for best lap.

That's sounds about right. takes me about 30 minutes between taking photos and actual data entry. The summary that I post every week takes about 10 seconds.... it's automated
