I've been practicing this morning, I really love the BMW at GVH, you gotta let it slide a bit to go faster. I've also been absorbed by Hogwarts Legacy, bought it for my wife who is a huge Harry Potter fan, turns out I'm the one that plays it the most. It got me out of my confort zone as its my first RPG. I guess I've hit COD MW2 fatigue in between GT7.

Just a quick reminder about track boundaries. Grand Valley has no rumble strips. This means that the white lines are the track boundary. Two tires on or inside the boundaries at all times. This includes this little section:

Becoming adroit at posting photos you are.

Hosts should start on time. The only reason to wait is to sort connection issues or to give a driver that was already in the room their three minutes from the time they left to return.

I have read the first post and I would like to join
@Saber_stance

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add zer05ive, JLBowler, nmcp1, SAMHAIN85, llNovall & Akzl298
as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Scores, data and votes done for D1. Great night of racing especially on the first combo with Tim and Valex. The new Grand Valley makes for some good on track action. I loved that combo. Slow car fast always produces close racing.
Grand Valley, from the track map, looked like 9 guys running a time trial for D2. All three cars were turds as far as I'm concerned. A relic from the 70s, a remade hunk of metal made to look good, and a barge.

Weird, we had tight pack racing in D1 with that combo with crazy (and clean) overtakes. The AMG at HSR was what you described in D2 for the first combo plus the added twitchy and unrealistic handling on Racing Hards.

The 51 Ford can bite quite easily. If you get on the throttle too early, then its a ticket to snap oversteer and you're gone but from the looks of it, this combo will survive for another week.
