La Sarthe and Spa ,weather report and other " stuff "

I'm a bit bored at the moment, so I was playing around with some swapped cars lately to see how they do here.
And one that really flashed me is the HiAce!

For the actual race it isn't the best choice, because you just can't do more than 2 laps without refueling.
But damn, that thing is quick! Much faster than you would expect from a car that is under 600PP even on RS tyres! Not to mention that it's a frickin' Van!

Well, I definitely had fun driving this thing around the track🙂

Here are few pics of my first run, I gave it a classic paint job, stuck on race tyres, added the SC, and used the Priano's tune for the Nurb and tweaked it a little for the 30 minute at Le Sarthe. A light rainstorm did not hinder my run and i pocketed the 800k. the Daytona still needs a little more tuning finesse in the suspension as i had some understeer and looking at the photo below it maybe because of the tyre rubbing in inside of wheel wells in the front.

I did exactly the same yesterday...spend the 20mio for my first Shelby Daytona, threw on some racing tires(and a livery) and took it to Sarthe...

Failed on my first attempt(basically stock, medium difficulty as usual) and had no chance to win, added the SC and some other parts(there are not too many parts available for this car...) and had no problems winning...didn't fiddle around with the suspension settings at all, and was quite happy with the handling, I'll keep it like that...wanted to do a 3-2-2 strategy(RM-RS-RS) but I got some rain halfway in lap 5 and it stayed wet almost to the end of the race, so I didn't get a really fast lap with RSs and FM1, but I think it can do sub 4:10' laps, will try it again and see what it can do in a dry race and RS/FM1...

Here is copy of the Priano's tune i started with and modified it slightly to get my best feel for it, did not use wide body nor wide and offset wheels.

Oh and I am always running fuel economy on my races at LeMans. FM6 and catching the slipstream....

For " new " guys ( short of ) who want something blistering and kind of lazy car for grinding there , am posting the Le mans King settings for laps under 50's ( mid 45's -46's ) depending your skills and weather's permission 😂

Note the the particular car has very very glitched tune due to tyres making intermediate tyres have way more pp than RH in many cases .

Because is in my language the car has .

Racing gear box adjusted only at 330khm and the High rpm turbo .

Under that settings and at FM4 ,can do 3 laps ( the lazy i mention above ) so you need 2 stops.
It's very forgiving in tyres so you don't have to change them ( RH ) at first stop if its dry .

I think i have and a faster one but works only in MT gears in order to achieve 3 laps stint.

The king is back ?
Actually he never leave , we just forget him 😂

Hope new in griding guys , to enjoy it .
