Okay, I don't understand the point behind a picture of a graph, so I've transcribed the data. We need to make sure you have access to update the times.

Instead of giving a link to a web page version of the Google doc, I'm stepping it up. Here is a link to the read only Google doc that includes the D1 data.

Cheeb had a column for finishing gap. I didn't have that. I'll add that before next week.

I intend to! I got beat like a rented mule last night and had a blast! Can't wait until I can get to the front of the pack! (Santa Monica? Sweet... Grew up there and miss it tons!)

Only 20yrs in SM. Originally from Long Island. I miss the season change.:(
Definitly check Sharkies and mopars tutoring out!👍👍;)

Thanks to both of you for being numbers nerds! :sly:

I've updated Sunday's results post with both the spreadsheet image and the Google Doc link. I'm not sure if that's the best place for the Google Doc link though. I guess that depends on how comprehensive it will be in the future. I'll try to find some time to fill in the missing D2 stats sometime this week.

With the fast forward feature, it really doesn't take very long to get the data.

So far there isn't much data, and with only one round being carried week to week, there isn't but so much we can do with it. The one thing that I found interesting this week was how much faster D3 was over last week.

I would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate the rest of the red team on that epic comeback in the final race. :D :sly:

That was a BLAST, wasn't it?? Rally and Zero were pinning me to the wall and keeping me in the sand like a BOSS! There were several times when I just felt plain helpless, and even once they had me going backwards. But I just kept chugging along, hoping my boys were doing some good up front with Diabolic. Then, at some point on lap 3, I broke free a bit and made a break for it. I made a few sweet moves to avoid Rally and Zero when they would fly up behind me and I managed to keep it out of the sand.

Somehow I got lucky and slipped right through the wall of smoke and cars near the last turn. I took the last right hander and headed on to the finish... giggling like a school girl! I could be mistaken, but I think I heard Diabolic crying a little bit. :)

I'm so mad I forgot to save the replay. Did anyone save it?

With that wall of smoke I never even saw you pass.

I didn't get to share in a victory all night.

Sigh.

You performed admirably, and I think I heard some pouting from Diabolic as well. :sly:

Yes, I saved the replay. You want me to put it in the thread, WRS style?

You weren't mistaken. :( :(

I was crushed. We got caught in the narrow section of track on that back stretch for a good five minutes...so frustrating. However, if they all play out like that, how can one argue? Its so exciting! And yes red, that was a great comeback. I thought we were about to lap you and then we lost... Curse you spooble!

That comeback was pretty unreal.. Persistence pays off I guess. Can't believe the red team was on the verge of going a lap down and then came back to win it! After spooble broke free, I tried to give the rest of the black team that heads up.. I believe my words were, "heads up, the red mouse is headed your way!". But either my mic wasn't working or they black cats up front were just too focused on helping diabolic out. I still had a chance to put him in the sand one last time, but spooble was able to keep it on the track as I sailed off into the sand instead :banghead: None the less, it was a fantastic finish. 👍

I heard you call out to your team, but I wasn't saying anything. :D

And as promised:

Dang! That banner looks awesome! Those cat and mouse silhouettes are sweet! Can you do one for Thursday night's roller derby event? Better yet, do you want to take over hosting duties on Thursday night? You're the resident expert on team Cat & Mouse, and there are a lot of similarities with that and roller derby. For example, there's only one mouse per team just like there's only one jammer. Would you be up for hosting/coordinating those types of team events on Thursdays instead of me?

That Banner is RAD!!! Very nice! up on the thread now. On thursdays, since thats the only other day I make it outside of Sun/Mon, I'll be glad to help you coordinate Dude. Haha, I need to be careful when I'm on your team, I have a habit of saying dude a lot.

So did I miss the posts, or are we still awaiting the news on car & track selections?

Machine.

The choices have not been made as yet. Here's where it currently stands.

Devious - Selected Prize A
Bronco - Selected Prize C
Mopar - Gets Prize B

In post 3014, Zer0 requested these selections be made but not to post the Car/Track selections as yet.

Waiting on word.

Actually, I need to update that post. I PM'd the Devious and Mopar this morning to go ahead and make their selections. I initially didn't want them to post them yet because there were some protests filed that could have potentially affected things. I have not heard back from Mopar yet, but Devious told me that she will post Prize A later tonight (she is under the weather right now).

Possibly. I'm out of the country about one week per month though.

I'd really like to get a group going that does Team C&M two or three nights a week with properly tuned and matched cars. The recommended list works in a pinch, but it's nothing like having your own spec'd cars. A tuned and limited mouse is infinitely less frustrating to drive than a stock one, and makes for closer racing.

As an example, the group I have been competing with (but is sadly mostly in the morning when I'm at work) has a list of about 40 cars (6 models in several colors each) that are needed for the events. I have 10 identical mice, except in different colors.

Thanks. I try to maintain proficiency with my personal graphic design software solution. (A combination of MSPaint, PowerPoint, Snipping Tool, and Google Image Search. :D)

Jeeze. . . and to think that I've got Photoshop and no talent. . . hence the avatar.

If only we could somehow combine our powers...

Okay, let us know what you decide. Don't worry about the one week per month though. Rally would have it covered.

We actually prefer to mix things up and offer various types of racing throughout the week. If we ran three nights of Team C&M, we might as well call that a Team C&M league! :sly:

That being said, you could guarantee at least one night of Team C&M if you hosted Thursdays. You might even get two nights of it depending on what Rally wants to do on his night. However, I'm not sure we can help you with your desire to have tuned cats and mice. We pride ourselves on not allowing tuning in this league. I think most of us would agree that it isn't the non-tuning that makes driving the mouse frustrating at times.. I think is has more to do with the cats that are attacking us non-stop!

Yes, I'm tracking all that. I certainly wouldn't try to start it here in the SNAIL thread. Just throwing out what I'd like to do at some point. It would definitely have it's own seperate league and lounge if I did it.

In the meantime, if Rally is willing to cover on the weeks that I'm gone, I can take "charge" of Thursdays. I'll take a closer look at the recommended list tonight and see if there some more combo options other than GTR/Swift that we could do to keep some variety going.
