I would like to race at the 9 pm west coast time. I haven't obtained the vehicles yet and do not have any practice as a result. I would think it would be better for me to compete next Sunday.

Don't worry about practice. Just get the cars and join in for some fun. @jobyone will post the room number between 8:45pm and 9pm Pacific.

D6 only had 8, but 8 good racers, with several very nice groups fighting for a position somewhere and tight racing, nice little 'clumps' of racing in each combo, at some point.

I really appreciated the good racecraft I saw, especially with several new drivers. Drivers were cautious about reentering track if they went for a short 'sightseeing' journey, or positions were immediately conceded to avoid bump-passing.

Nice group - I hope to see you guys next week!

D2 Directors Report

The racing tonight in D2 was very fast. Everyone was so close in the end. Coming into the final race 1st thru 6th were seperate by 1 point. At the same time 2nd thru 6th were all tired. But in the end the overall winner for the night was JLBowler, who is freshly back on the wheel. Tonight was some what bitter sweet. I myself had some technical issues and had to switch back to the controller. But overall it was a great night in D2. Thank you guys. ​

Division 5 Recap...

First race of the evening started quite smoothly...

The battle for first was a close one exiting turn 1...

On the final lap 1st through 4th were still battling closely...

The GTRs were a handful and each race started out close...

A little bit of air with a bad landing was the feared combo...

Done right, one could sail to victory lane!

The second race had "the big one".
There's that orange car again, sneaking from 6th to 1st over the next 100 yards!

Race 2 at Brands Hatch was very tight...

A moment of 3-wide must have created some sweaty palms!

but the outside line prevailed.

The 2nd combo would be a whole lot better if we raced around in the other direction.

Great shot! What a race! My heart was pounding for the laps prior to this moment. Somehow I got a better run off that sweeping turn and it was just enough to pass you guys battling it out. I held my breath braking into the next corner and after that I'd be lying if I said I didn't look back. I had one eye on the rearview the rest of the race praying not to make a mistake!

No way, that section before the first tunnel is a nightmare bottleneck. I never get it right. I'm much more confident at Deep Forest running reverse.

With the expansion to 7 divisions, we also have had to expand the number of members to cover key positions so that League night can run problem free. The speed at which the thread is cruising at these days, it is fairly easy to miss something along the way. This is another rough draft of the bare minimum the League needs for each division to operate.
