My car hasn't been broken in yet, I was running the car as Showroom Stock - I didn't even change the oil yet. My Bobs are breaking-in my ride as I type this.

What car are you referring to? The car from your Prize A selection?

I'll take Prize B đź‘Ť

ice, thanks for claiming your prize so quickly. Please wait for Devious to post her Prize A selection before posting your Prize B selection. However, please start thinking about what you want to do with it so you can post it as soon as she announces her selection.

Hey, I'm not going to be able to run tonight's practice session. Hopefully someone will step up and run it.

What worked well last week was :

Run a qualifying session for the new car/track, race based on qualifying results then do a reverse grid race.
Same thing for the new car or track combo.
Run a qualifying session for the existing car/track and a race based on qualifying results.

Gives us a few more laps at the new combos.

Well, since I host the room,I'll take a crack at it. Just need to know the car/track combos before I get started.

I took a look back through and your elimination vote count seems right, zer0. Although it would have been a lot easier if someone had remembered to take the votes after the races on Sunday night.

You are correct about Round 2 getting the most votes, but I'm not sure what you mean about about 4 votes for "1" breaking the tie. According to my calculations, racefan's vote breaks the tie between Round 1 and Round 3.

When you first posted the results, you asked the SNAILS who had not voted to vote because it would break the tie. I believe there have been about 4 votes had been cast between when you posted the results to now - not counting racefan78 changing his vote. You may need to go back and take a look.

Prize A selction:
Ferrari F430 `06 (RH tires) @ Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (4 or 5 laps) (I didn't pay attention to race time, sorry.

I've been experimenting with the braking and exiting lately in traffic. Especially when I have someone going into a turn right before me. Sometimes it works, sometimes I mess up and totally go off track. (hence the reason I'm in D3 where I belong) I'm fairly sure that braking/exit is about 90% of my problem. 5% is seat time/practice during the week, and the other 5% is everything else I do wrong like incorrect lines etc etc that is really brought to my attention with Mrs. DeviousÂ’ lessons. When I get it right though, it's amazing to see how much the exit speed increases. Actually pulling up on someone after the exit is so cool to experience. Also, it's getting a little easier to get the slow in/ fast out principle down. Doesn't seem like its possible, but it very clearly works when I get it correct. Lately due to life issues, my practice time has dwindled, so I take what I can get and love any division I can run in. For a while I was getting burned out on the seriousness needed to improve, combined with the lack of time and was getting so frustrated, but I just decided to chill out, have fun, and still know I'm getting better, just at a much slower pace. So, all I can say to any of the folks struggling is that you aren't alone, and even though it's at a S.N.A.I.L.'s pace, I'm still getting better, and so will you. Even in last place, I just work on my lines and concentrate on closing any gaps possible. Traffic used to be one of my biggest problems, but now I don't even mind that any more. IÂ’ve gotten pretty good at switching driving cams if I need to for tight traffic. Anyway, hang in there, enjoy the comradery , and remember to just have fun with it all.

Thank you so much sharkie!

Also I have found out what heaven looks like, take a look if you haven't seen it yet, it's quite amazing.

zer0's post was correct.

Let's just take a look. I know for a fact that when Zero posted the results he stated there was a tie, for the 2nd most voted round, Rounds 1 & 3. Zero had asked anyone who didn't cast a vote, to please do so because your vote counts. Since that time, Zero has edited the results posts a few times and it now doesn't show him asking for the votes

After Zero posted the results, there have been members who have cast their vote, as per Zero's request.

At the time I posted this, the vote counts are:
Round 1: 6
Round 2: 12
Round 3: 6

If the vote count for rounds 1 & 3 were tied at the time zero posted the unofficial race results, and the time in this thread is listed below, and all votes listed below are for round 1, then how is it still a tie?? Were there votes cast via PM? If so, why wasn't there an post regarding that?

Zero posts unofficial race results - post #5504

Racefan78 voted 1 - post #5506 this votes does not count and is not shown in the results

Chiochan (ChuthuluGoat) voted 1 - post #5519 this vote does not show in the results

AJK Vail voted 1 - post# 5614 this vote shows in the results

Apmaddock - announces protest resolution, results updated & finalized. post # 5677 At this point the voting should be closed.

As you can see, I have clearly point out that the post is zero post is not correct, and it is missing the vote cast by Chiochan/ChuthuluGoat. In addition, the vote counts, in my opinion, are still in question.
Even if the vote count in zeros result post are correct, not all the votes are shown

Yep. Missed the vote by Goat (as did zer0, it seems). I stand corrected.

Round 1 is voted out by a margin of 1.

SMH, I just went through the numbers and got.
7 votes for1
11 votes for 2
7 votes for 3
Must have missed something

EDIT. I did. Iceburgs vote doesnt count either so
6 votes for 3.
so combo 1 is the second most voted course.

sorry if changing my vote threw things off. i was under the impression that my original vote didn't count anyway since it was marked "in case of position change"

I am officially back, so you can put me on the drivers list thingy. Had fun last sunday, wasn't expecting to win any races but got lucky at Tsukuba, sucked at the rest though.

Good stuff Bronco, I'll have the Driver List updated shortly đź‘Ť

Neither of your votes count in the end. hehe

Whoever choses Prize B should be selecting the car or track to replace the Miata or Tsukuba.
