@Nail-27 and anyone else who might be interested. Here and here are a pictorial diary of the "rig" I currently enjoy using. The only thing that has changed since that time is the addition of a ButtKicker Gamer II to the chair.

How's the sturdiness? I thought about doing something like that with PVC or wood, but I was worried about it twisting and flexing so I decided to just save up for an all metal rig (which I like, but got it before I had the G27 and now can't effectively switch between left foot and right foot braking if I wanted to use the clutch due to a center bar between the legs holding up the wheel).

My initial design just had the center support and it was not strong enough so I added the side braces and it's still rock solid. The key is sticking the legs between the cushion and arms of the chair.

This is my little setup. Its a Rigid out-feed table for a table saw that I did a little bit of work to. It folds up in seconds and is telescopic due to the nature of an out-feed table (height adjustable). I bolted the g25 to the table as well as the shifter so that everything is solid. It's working great for me and only cost about $40 and 2 hours of labor to build. Highly recommend for a cheap alternative to the expensive setups

@zer05ive , Looks like the lineup should look like this. The HP/PP numbers are straight from the dealerships for the Suzuki and the Ferrari. Will get some race laps and q times up shortly.

what are we doing about the fact that the GSX cant be painted other than the factory colors? Sorry if this was already discussed, but if it hasn't, it needs to be.

Sometimes people pick cars that can't be painted at all. It's a bummer but we deal with it.

I realize this is WAY, WAY late, but I was having some issues with my internet's uploading speed, which is better now, but anyways.

Here is the video of Round 1 of the April Race of Champions. I'd say it's only decent quality, but the best I could do with my video camera recording the TV live. Let me know if I should bother uploading the 2nd and 3rd rounds, or if the quality isn't worth it.

I thought we were listing the hp/PP from post-oil change for the Post, but the intial PP from dealership is what dictated the tires?

@Dragonwhisky and @JLBowler - which should be listed on Page 1?

Beats me. The after oil is, Suzuki 180HP/499PP with the Ferrari at 363HP/503PP, so the order is still not how it's customarily done.

My lap times suggest 7 race laps and 7 minutes qual at Brands and 5 race laps and 8 minutes qual at Silverstone. Anyone have anything different?

Me and that pony ain't gettin' along.

Sorry, I forgot to switch Round 1 and Round 3 after I edited the new cars, stats, and links. Everything has been updated now. 👍

The only reason we list the hp/PP for the cars in the lineup was because is was requested several times in the GT5 days. Drivers were sometimes concerned that their cars weren't broken fully, so they would be a lot of posts on the thread asking what the fully broken-in stats of this car or that car was. Therefore, it was suggested that we simply list it in the line up post. Now that breaking in cars is not necessary in GT6, I'm in favor of not listing the Hp/PP any more. I think the lineup post should just list the bare essentials. Thoughts?

Similarly, I also wonder if it's necessary to post how many minutes of qualifying there will be for each round. As this post explains, that information is sent with the divisional announcements every Sunday night. I don't really think knowing how many minutes of qualifying there will be is information that needs to be known before league night starts, let alone days in advance.

Not every host is a scorekeeper. They're the ones that need that information so they can set up the room properly. Doesn't really matter to me either way though.

Listing the HP and PP is a good practice for guys to use as reference for room settings.

That and you'll awlways have some body asking because they have forgotten. Or they won't do an oil change if they are new and wonder why the lost thinking spec is without oil change.

Ok I found a way to drive in, now I will apologize @aliengamer25 :dunce: All I had to do is practice it for hours on end!

Thank you iI appreciate that, I used it a lot in GT5 for the Nurburgring 24hr race, so I thought it was easy to drive. I didn't realize how much practice I had with it over the average person until I had yesterday after I thought about it.

Man that's alot

Hmm. Take a look at this one. That was, unequivocally, the single most IRs and reviews in SNAIL since we started the current reporting and review system. Over 200 reviews were accomplished that week.

Yea I don't know what happened that week but needless to say that is entirely uncalled for in my opinion. A little rubbing will happen in good, hard racing but man that's insane.

Last night I drove that Ferrari for the first time around Silverstone and found it one of the best cars in GT6 so far.
Fast, very stable, awesome handling, endless gearbox and amazing breaks, basically everything I love in a sports car.
So on my very first laps I manage to pull 2.15.xxx giving me enough confidence to do well in this combo next Sunday.

Wtf. I was never notified anyone had filed against me. How was that a valid file? I don't know what I did or when I did it and I would like an explanation? If I don't know what I did how can I learn from it?
