Sorry about that, but it won't be a TOPP for long anyways (hopefully). There've been a few mysterious posts added to this thread today that have removed TOPP status from my important posts such as the Driver List and even our schedule post (which was posted back in March 2012!!). It's really strange, especially considering how old some of the posts are that were added. We're working with mods to get it sorted, but until then, any TOPPs today won't be a TOPP once this issue is fixed.

@Handlebar (HandlebarMustash) is the current D6 host. as soon as @CoachMK21 updates the team snail page i will be sure to add you to the roster as backup host, and replay up loader, possibly as a primary if your ok with that since our previous up loader has been promoted. Thanks!

To ALL DIV-4 drivers, new and existing before the Driver List update.
1) Apparently most of the division Worker Snails were promoted. Soooo I threw my hat (?) into the selection box as Host. Unless there is a mass slime out, I have a request to make.
2) Make absolutely sure you send a Friend Request to me TEX-36 sometime tonight or during the day tomorrow. Do NOT wait until Sunday.
The D-4 Sunday night races will be in a Friends Only - Fixed Host Room.
Between now and then I will make sure that I can be heard clearly by other drivers in various practice rooms.
Any questions - please ask - or let your strong opinions be known.

For many years I spent either the first or second weekend of October in a sleepy little village in upstate New York. On the first occasion I had driven to Keuka College in Penn Yan for a blind date...from Maine ( longest blind date in history...10 hours at 80 plus). On Saturday my date ( what was her name...lol) said there's a race at the Glen. I replied...what's a Glen?
Turns out the Student center had 4 tickets left so off we went. We spent the night in a cozy sleeping bag and were awakened by Bandini's V-12Ferrari at full song down at the Kendall tech center. I really did not know what this F1 was all about....but I liked it. My love of motor racing was born.

I found div 7 a good fit for me, so I was a little surprised to be promoted to div 6. Not sure I'm up to speed there but will do my best.

Was just about to post this.
I'm sad. My favorite driver leaves my favorite team. I got into F1 four years ago and just picked him because I liked his attitude and red bull in general. Had no idea the next four years would go so well for him.
Not sure who I'll root for next year. Probably Seb... Ughhh
Guess he's going to Ferrari? Nothing else makes sense really unless Honda is paying him a bajillion dollars to race for Mclaren. Might make sense for a bombshell announcement later this weekend, being in Japan and all.

I followed F1 more this year than any previous year, but I am not satisfied with the clear competitive imbalance in F1.
Rooting for this year's Godzilla team or hoping the team represented by a five year old with a DS hoping to defeat Godzilla is not really dramatic. The drama queens in the cockpit... They have drama, baby!
I do not know enough to suggest a simple solution, just stating my newbie view.

on round 2 race 1 for the past 2 weeks I have been freezing at the start. car will not move. can I ask for a restart getting everyone to line up in the order they qualify. then start. technically it is not a DC. Im in the race but cant move.
or do I just suck it up and accept a DNF.

Also, I want to thank @GTP_Vertigo and @vsfit for stepping up to be our new Prize Coordinators. They did a dry run this past week and it seemsed like everyone was happy with the originality and the timeliness of the prize selections. 👍

In my opinion, none of this happens if the 4-time consecutive world champion isn't soundly outperformed by his new teammate week after week. He was once the golden boy of that team, but Ricciardo has swiftly removed the luster from that golden shine. However Vettel decides to justify the move to Ferrari, I'm guessing his ego played a large part of the decision-making process. I just don't think he wanted any part of being "the Webber" of Red Bull.

Huge thanks to @CoachMK21 for getting us all together and @fzappa for hosting and everyone that came out for another great night of SNAIL racing! While I did not earn a place on the grid, I found myself lining up through attrition. Groovy by me! It is always a treat to get an opportunity to race this event. There will be several different perspectives on tonight's racing but from where I was sitting it was pretty damn good. Yes there were *much* faster drivers on the track than I. I got passed several times but each and every one was pretty cool to be a part of. Clean and calculated. I really enjoyed myself tonight. Thanks again to all that put their time into organizing this special event!

Hopefully the update full of bug fixes has taken care of this problem. You're not the only one it was happening to. If it happens this week, make sure we know about it and we will discuss a possible work around for it. The first week that it happened, it was always the host that got stuck. Maybe you could try your division's back up host this week.
