You should have restarted after half the field Disconnected! That rule was put out there last week if you recall.
Only fair, I believe. I honesty don't know what the rules are saying but if half the field disconnected simultaneously I think the race should be repeated but JLBowler will clear that up soon.

I would like to say that I'm surprised but I'm not. I've see some connection test results and some of the worst I have ever seen are racing in D6.
I ran a speed test and my download speed seams good, but my upload speed seams low. What is a good/decent upload speed?
Would a low upload speed cause me to lag as the room got bigger?

Gotcha. It looks like the sheets were copied over but you're right, we should wait until given the go-ahead since they might be editing things beforehand or something.

DL speed matters little. Upload should be at least 1mbps. The higher the better off course. Your ping though. This is important. The lower the better, and hopefully it is lower than 100 ms. Ping is the time measure it takes for a packet to reach the server that was pinged, and a response sent back. Things that affect ping are noise in the line, firewalls, port forwarding, how many different servers it has to go through, equipment on both ends. Basically anything that stands between your machine and the pinged machine. The higher the ping, the higher the latency, the higher the chance of something going wrong.

Could these numbers be my problem?

The ping isn't out of control. To go from OR to FL with only 105ms ping isn't bad. But that upload will be. If you are racing, I suggest shutting down/disconnect anything else that can use the internet. Check out this. Also, if you are running wireless, stop. Run some Ethernet cable between your route/modem to your PS3.

I am running a ethernet cable. The host is in New York, would that mean during the race I am at 105 ping then?

When in the race did the mass disconnection take place?
I believe that if it is a mass disconnection of more then either half the room
A little preview of what I like to do while I'm not working or racing with you guys (it's pretty much a combination of the two actually)

3D model of a stylized MP4-4. Once this one is done, I will likely start modifying it to start getting the other cars from the 1988 grid done as well.

Can we submit this to gt and get it in the game!

That's so cool Falango... 👍👍👍
What material do you use? Looks like either wood or clay.

Very cool indeed. I'd love one but I'm not sure I'd fit. There doesn't seem to be a lot of legroom! :D

My computer :D

It's a CAD model

Close, it's Autodesk Maya that I use. Most people do generalize them as CAD models, but CAD itself is one of the many 3D modeling peograms out there, mostly used for engineering.

Thanks! Haha, ya not much legroom, but I was going for the big head that covers the entire cockpit. I think it will look cool once the helmet is textured.

What are the 4 worst handling cars in gran turismo? I only want the car absolutely no reasons or negotiations as to why it is or isn't just the name of the car

The old Audi Union thing. Can't do a lap of Monaco without reversing I believe.

I vote for the X-Bow R for one of those slots.
That actually handles pretty good.
