Thx for your prompt reply @JLBowler, I meant the new Midfield Track - eligible for future races or not - is there any trial to be made before it's ready for racing on it?
cheers

We will assume that Midfield is bug free until evidence to the contrary presents itself. This means that we can choose the track for Sunday's unless there turns out to be issues with it. Basically, we will treat it as working correctly until it proves us wrong.

Note: Bathurst proved us wrong so it was banned until it can be proven differently and that is being worked on.

TS030 at the Brands Hatch 15 lap challenge, push the pace setting, easy win (>20 sec to 2nd), and they do the pits without any input (although there was a pit stop at the end of the 14th lap for RH tires after the rain that was a bit retarded, but still).

Pays a decent amount of money as well, with 406k at 200%.

Holla @Engmatic1 , so great pictures capturing the awesome racing moments last night, good job m8 👍
PS : If I remember well it was #39 which let you win the Grand Stand...exactly that one I see on your car bro'

In my opinion, no filter looks good. Just my 2 cents though. I just think filters cover up the beauty of an image, or hides the things that don't make it a nice image. Just my photography brain talking lol.

It's cool. I quite welcome the input. I chose that filter cos with filter off I just thought the field didnt look striking enough as the FTO doesn't allow for a wide range of colors.

You're right, and I don't think the lighting model in GT6 is very good for pics during mid day or default track time. The paint on the FTO doesn't show shape too well either. The Gallardo and SLS are much better to photograph :)

Very true. The lighting in GT has always been terrible. i tend to find myself taking close ups but have to be careful because the smooth lines become jagged and all realism (as close as GT ill allow it) is lost. But hey, gotta try and get the best shot i think possible. I am by no means great at taking pictures so really appreciate the input from you.

There are a few circuts that are pretty bad and Motegi is one of them. Cape Ring is another. Especially if your trying to "photograph" metallic, chrome or neon colored vehicles. In contrast, Silverstone is one of my favorites because it's typically overcast. Adjust Exposure FTW

Edit:

When i became interested in the photo feature in GT6 @joe_diben pointed me to this link which i found very helpful:

Hey TomMang - @Wolfsatz posted a great visual guide a while back on how to take some great photos. Here is the link...

That's a great post to refer to. What sucks is the F-stop doesn't quite work exactly as they do in real life, and I wish we could go to slower shutter speeds to take better night and long exposure shots.

Silverstone is one of my favorites too. Sometimes when I run a room for photo purposes, I'll change the time of day to morning or early evening. I ran Midfield last night at 18:00 and got a very nice image with my Scuderia. I'll post it up late tonight. I think I'll edit it a bit to try and get some realism from it.

With the new B spec, I feel like I should actually be using one of these rc car controllers. Brake now, no accelerate now! Left side, wait right. Damn, epic crash. Let's do it again!

that's funny. I honestly think if I could run my 1:10 touring car with a DS3 I'd do better.

Help! My Logitech G25 will not power on. The green LED on the shifter glows faintly from the USB connection and no power goes to the wheel motor. So far I've verified that the power outlet works, reconnected every connection a handful of times, and tried plugging it into each USB port without success. I searched GTP using a variety of search terms and am overwhelmed by the number of irrelevant results, most of which are discussions around PS4/Logitech compatibility.

Does anyone have any suggestions, either for fixing it or where to go for technical resources? I'm electrically inclined and am not afraid to warm up the solder gun and pop the hood if necessary. Also, it's probably 12-years-old by now (definitely had it for more than 10 years), so I don't think there's a warranty play here. I don't have any of the paperwork anymore; I have no idea where I bought it or where any of the packaging documents are.

My first guess goes to the power cable/adapter. I'm not sure if it's similar to the G27 where there's a 2 prong figure 8 power cable going into the adapter. if so, do you have another to try? After that, see if you can test the adapter itself?

What Falango said. It's the power supply. No power to the motor and a faint green light is the tell tale sign. If you can find a replacement plug and cord you should be golden.

If it's not marked for voltage and all the other specs, you can call Logitech and their technical support will be able to tell you what you need. They may even have them in stock to purchase if needed. I would give them a call either way, they may surprise you with how helpful they can be.

The update this morning has deemed all club events (time trials) to be unavailable. Plus, the course description for the time trails are in hieroglyphics.

I'm having the same issue with time trials. I can sign up and get the message success. If I try to open a room it tells me the time trial is unavailable. Any suggestions to fix this?

I wonder if they have to be regenerated now that the patch has hit. Might be worth a try.
