The graph segmentation is poor but remember it is from the garage page that you find at what rpm the car's peak power is hit. So, looking at the graph below found in the Settings page, you can see the power peak is midway between two lines which we have to presume in this case indicate 5000rpm and the 6000rpm marks.

As for question 2, this is where the bit of trial and error come into it. Being a spec league we obviously race with the stock gearing. Sometimes the cars we drive have very long gearing so it can be the case you mention that if you change too early the power and torque aren't there to carry you forward as strongly as it might if you rev further beyond the peak power mark. Generally, it's rare that you will change up at the exact mark that peak power is hit. So in the example you use, the best compromise might be to rev to 7500 or beyond if the power doesn't fall off too quickly. That's where the testing helps.
A good reference point for rpm is where the torque and horsepower lines intersect, that always occurs at 5200 rpm.

you can also look in the garage on the main page with a car and it will tell you exactly at what rpm peak horsepower and torque are made.

Hello everyone. I started messing around with a few photos from a practice race a few weeks ago. The drives in these photos are Drb1269247 (Can someone tag him for me), GTP_Nobby and me "TBongX" Drb1269247 is facing the wrong direction in a grey car. I'm in the red car, hitting him and putting him into the air. Nobby is in the grey car next to me and driving under him. This was awesome to see live as it happened during the race.

Why did my photos post like this and other photos people post come out as just the photos?

Very cool @TBongX Great job capturing this! That was so crazy, it was almost unbelievable when it happened! I was just kinda like, huh? woh!!!👍

I probably shouldn't... But I'm gonna...

Everyone needs to stop. Pull your heads out and take a good look around. The entire prize enigma is creeping up on Marxism. I am impressed with the level of competition we have across all divisions but don't let it cloud why we are here. Fun.

If the current trend is allowed to evolve, there will come a time to where the restrictions on prize A selections will become so confined that winning said prize will become a burden. If it hasn't already. I believe in certain restrictions like: track length, rev limiters, F1 based cars on kart space, et al... The rest should be left up to the winner. Not every combination will please everyone. (no 🤬)

Why is it wrong to pick something silly (within reason) or something that makes the winner feel good? Why is it necessary to beat the prize winners like rented mules? Picking a combo should be like sharing music with your friends. Some will hate it. Some will accept it. Some will love it... but all will respect it. Picking a combo should be met with a certain understanding that you are getting to see some of the personality of the individual that chose the combo. Take a poll sometime. Ask everyone what their favorite car (in the game) is and why. There is a story behind every car (or track) we love. When we bitch about a combo, we are attacking something that one of our members loves.

It was once touted in our original O.P. that one of the benefits of our style of SPEC racing only needed a minimum amount of prep time to be competitive and have a good time.. We all have lives and this is a hobby for most. We should not be required to be plugged into SNAIL 24/7. There comes a time to ease up on strict regulation and just relax a little. That is why we are here in first place.

Take a breath. Remove the work boots and take it for what it's worth. Who cares if you like the combo or not. Let the winner enjoy their spoils. If it bothers you all that much, I am sure there is a NASCAR league out there somewhere that will relieve you of the sadness of variety.

SNAIL is an awesome organization and it contains some of the coolest people I have never met. Don't let silly 🤬 get in the way of enjoying good natured competition and great friendships. (You are all in trouble if I ever find prize A in my hands again. You will ALL need therapy!!) :D Sometimes it isn't all about wins or points. Think of some of your funnest races. Why is C & M so much fun? Sometimes something goofy is what we all need...

here, here someone talking sense at last

On a happier (at least for me) and unrelated note. My new T300 is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. Maybe having a new toy will actually motivate me to find some time to practice. I haven't been able to make any significant (read less than a half hour a week) time to practice in almost a year. Baseball and basketball season in full swing won't help but I'm hoping a shiny new toy will help.

You definitely will enjoy this piece of hardware. May I recommend ditching pedals the pedals which do not do this wheel any justice. Get an adaptor plug some g27 bad boys in there and u got a premium set up. noooooo whaaaa aaaa meeeaann mannn!!!!!

The adapter to use the G27 pedals got here yesterday. I just need the wheel here so I can make any changes to my rig for mounting purposes and I'm ready to go.

@Falango - I'm finally watching the V8 Supercars. The only series I'm able to actually keep track of who's who and on what team is Formula 1. There's too many cars in TUDOR, Continental Tire Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge, V8 Supercars, and BTCC to remember everyone.

So the ford will bite you if you drive it hard! If you downshift late and hold a higher gear threw the turn then downshift on exit it actually drives really well! I just got to figure out the breaking points for the chicanes and I should be in the 1:50's!

Also, the great thing about having slightly bad vision is I can take my glasses off when watching non-HD and it doesn't look as bad!
