Sometimes you wish you can air your frustration in the open without censorship blocking you from what you really want to say....

On May 24 I contacted Logitech to report a problem with my G27 wheel
On Jun 10 I dropped the package off at the UPS office
On Jun 18 it completed the 2000 mile trip from Northern Alberta to San Jose, CA
On Jun 19 I was notified my replacement is shipped (from Memphis, TN)
Today, Jun 26 it completed the 3000 mile long trip to my door step (literally)
It took me 35 minutes to rip the old Driving Force GT wheel off and install the replacement.
Time to test - The USB connection was damaged during transportation.

I think, that after 31 days of attempting to resolve the problem, I'm back at square 1 (This time due to the wonderful UPS service)

That really sucks dude. You can right that wrong with UPS but I have no idea what Logitech will do if you try to mail it back to them again. At first glance it looks like you can use pliers or something to bend the metal back in place but I wouldn't wanna mess with it either.

Yes, the box was damaged too....
Just gently bend it back to the correct shape

I certainly can get my ten thumbs to attempt that, but my concern is what else was damaged in the heavy blow that bent the usb connection inside the box

I agree. I would claim damaged during shipment. i know its a headache but going that route will better ensure you are taken care of. If you start fiddling with the connection and then begin to have other issues you may run into warranty problems.

I'm apart of the SSR #10 racing team I'm there rookie. Didn't make the cut but a great team apparently they are second in class right now.

Wish they would learn to cycle the camera more through the field, lots of action happening that we aren't getting to see :(
