Why you all so serious about this one though? Was it the "yada yada yada"? That makes you think I don't care about the effort put into making SNAIL what it is? That's you reading into it too much. I wasn't using that praise to get more attention to my problem. I just didn't want to double post. One thing had to be said because I'm not gonna ignore the fact that we have a forum now. And then I moved on to why I really wanted to post. I have a problem with my wheel and wanted to seek help. What's so bad about that?

oh yea, I didn't put any smileys. I'm a horrible person. :dunce:

There comes a point where a person's reputation is louder than their voice. Now I'm happy to go on record to say that I believe that you absolutely do value the work that is put into the league. I do not doubt that. The thing is, people tend to hear what they want to hear or read what they want to read. I think I've said this before... you've gained a particular type of reputation from the manner in which you post and the context of some of them. After some time, these trends become the sum of your online personality. When a person speaks/posts etc., the audience will always take into consideration the background of the speaker when deducing the true value of the message. The bottom line becomes (and i'm not saying it's necessarily right or fare), many folks tend to believe you like putting yourself at the center of attention, you like receiving credit and enjoy the idea of being at the forefront of something bigger. This has become your M.O. and it's weight has a significant effect on the perception of the intent of your posts because folks that see you as holding those traits automatically "look" for them in everything you say. This is not meant to be a personal attack, but if you're curious why you receive the backlash you do... this is a part of it I think.

We've been through this before. It's why I had to add those rules to my signature. That's not an attack on you to be read as "you should've known that". I'm just saying that I've gotten your post before and know it's validity.

I'm very passionate about anything I like and put myself into it 100%. That's what that is. I'd love to have a more active role in SNAIL but I can't just have anything I want. Also, SNAIL is already running well on it's own, it doesn't need me to do more. So basically I'm just voicing my opinions for the continuation of friendly discussion. :)

Fair enough. I will add this as food for thought regarding the intent of your signature... You may be better to change you ways rather than change someones opinion of your ways. Pardon my lackluster philosophy :)

Uhhhh. I have actually seen this. And if you have a daughter about the age of 7 and is savvy with netflix, you probably have too.

Yeah, the crap you have to watch because of kids...
I'm glad mine has passed this phase and now is cool with watching Good movies instead of kids crap. Hang on, the end is in sight!!

You missed the scene when I launched my junkie car off the "ramp" prior to the finish stretch.

Almost forgot last set of Last weeks final combo

I'm gonna put this up here also. RCS considers him to be "ours" lol! Really we are proud of Vlad and just wanted to show it.

Awesome work, as always!

Thanks. And don't think I didn't notice you complimenting me for having class on track. That's where it matters.

The drivers list has been updated but is not completely ready for this week's racing. Once the deadline for time trials comes and goes, the list can be completed.

Promotion and relegation, along with expansion to 7 divisions is mostly complete. Any new time trials that come in between now and the deadline could push a driver or two around depending on where those time trials land.

Whoa big changes! Let's get everything organized in time for Sunday. I can be backup host of needed

All Division Managers have been notified of the new drivers list. The D4 conversation has been started. If you're willing and able to cover any openings of divisional duties, post that in your divisional conversations when they are created.

Good luck everyone. Remember, we have a big prize starting this season. So, race clean and race often.

It's time for the fifth GranStand Challenge!! The first GranStand Challenge resulted in this and the most recent one resulted in this! Who's going to the next winner of an incredible sim racing wheel stand?? The GranStand Challenge V will span our August, September, and October seasons. At the end of these three short months, we will identify the drivers with a high number of GranStand points and enter them into a random drawing. The winner of the random drawing will win a GranStand wheel stand!!

Introducing the GranStand.
The GranStand racing stand system is fully modular, allowing for customization beyond the efforts of many others on the market. This also allows for selection of a model that fits not only your needs, but your budget as well, and always allows for additional modules.

Rules for the GranStand Challenge V:

    • One GranStand point will be awarded for each Sunday night race that a drivers competes in
    • Drivers who are not on the starting grid for any reason (network issues, lac, being late, protesting a combo, etc) will not receive a GranStand point
    • Any driver that is imposed a penalty by the stewards will also be docked an equal amount of GranStand points
    • The more GranStand points a driver has earned, the better odds he will have at winning the random prize drawing
    • GranStand points will be docked for inappropriate behavior in the lounge or on the thread (e.g. posting a public racing complaint instead of filing an incident report)
    • The prize will not be shipped outside the United States or Canada unless the winner makes his own arrangements to do so

@DesertPenguin09 your on track is great you're mouth is what's getting you into trouble and rightfully so! You have blasted higher division drivers for being in "our" practice room, you have slammed higher division driver's then blamed them after you spin them out!

Also if you feel the need to add a second thought there are more option available to you then belittling it (which is also how I read it)

1) ignore zeros achievement and put your question in

2) but a proper acknowledgement of zero's achievement in, put in a few spaces then put in your problem

3) acknowledge zeros achievement post wait till some else posts then put in your problem

What you did was straight up being a rude!
