Probably the most challenging part about racing cleanly, you tend to lift off the throttle to avoid contact but in doing so open yourself up to getting pressured from the opponents behind you. Best solution there is to hold your line in hopes that the drivers behind you will lift to avoid you, or get around you. some do, some don't. You'll learn who you can trust.if there is contact from behind that's on them...that's the golden rule.
Sometimes you may have to submit an IR from time to time. If guys are taking this racing league seriously, they will probably avoid contact with you in the future. However, alternatively, refusing to submit an IR has it's consequences too. Its like condoning that behavior to continue.
That's just how i see it. I don't think you should quit @TBongX .For what it's worth, I consider you to be clean driver and do enjoy racing with you. Hang in there dude.
Bong your bad night started when you got moved down 2 divisions. You came in with a bad attitude and carried on threw the night until you finally had enough!
What did you get the poster for? That is not how I envisioned you looking at all! Here are a couple pics of me standing in front of the SRT Tomahawk poster i won from the contest, ended up coming in 11th out of 12 drivers with a total time of 4:41.927 so it was a big surprise to me i won plus pics of my game room setup.
One stand alone pic of the poster too. Hope you enjoy the pics. Funny shirt i had on as Wife took the pics for me says "Most of the People that drive me nuts are in my Family"

I'm in agreement with @TomMang_68 & @Die_Birdy_Die ,You @TBongX are an excellent driver and SNAIL wouldn't be the same without you.I haven't filed any IR'S myself, and therefore can be considered part of the problem.I do my level best to avoid contact on track, but it is INEVITABLE given the fact that we are all vying for the same piece of real estate time and again. There have been times I was angry, and was determined to file, then said driver apologized for the action,I watched the replay and found no intent, just consequence, and thought better of it.But,if we are to be better drivers,we need to use this tool.It will make us more aware of our interactions, and the consequences thereof.I watched the video posted by our resident videographer @brntguy from start to finish(2 hrs and change) and listened to the conversations,it started with @TBongX being upset over the driver placement,I too was set aback by this.I thought to myself "How could I have finished the previous season in 6th place and end up down a Division, then after investigation,I found the answer. The thread has been full of new drivers, the TT room has been very busy, our wonderful folks who take care of these things @JLBowler @CoachMK21 @zer05ive ,etc.have a daunting task in regards to this, they are growing this organisation, and with and of there own free time and will. The least we can do is to show respect to them and our community by obeying the rules, and supporting their decisions, they are not going to please everyone all the time,But they have managed to keep this train moving.Lets give them praise, and be thankful of this entity that has brought such talent and class together. And on that note,,,,, @Falango @STEAMER62 ,@Engmatic1 @FlipJ @Snailracing
It'll be done tonight...It would have been nice to have the third combo, but here is my latest time wasting results.......
I choose to freeze the track. Tex .... you're up sir.
It has got to be said (and was!) if you think you are having a bad day in SNAIL, go race on the economy. Open Lobbies, even the "clean or Kick, no BS" ones pale in comparison to what SNAIL provides on its worst day. I am looking forward to getting back on the horse this coming Sunday. So yesterday, having finished working very late and after putting the kid to bed, I jumped on to GT. Too late to join Pack Racing, however, I ventured into the wild, choosing to run the Spa Quick Match to get some competitive racing done before turning in myself. After 4 botched connection attempts, I finally got in. Man, oh man...
After a highly enjoyable, albeit unsuccessful Sunday night, I was quickly reminded that I wasn't within the cozy confines of SNAIL when I got hit in the back and on the right side at the same time at La Source, even though I dropped back on purpose to watch the carnage that I was sure would happen (I guess I should have dropped aaaall the way back).
I did race 3 or 4 races, since there were 2 other drivers that were clean, and then I went to bed thanking @zer05ive for his creation and everyone else, past and present, for their dedication and love of SNAIL that make this the most incredible corner of the GT universe. We have our differences, we get on each others' nerves, but the quality of the racing and the camaraderie is unparalleled.
So thank you all and long live SNAIL.
This, in my mind, encapsulates what it's all about:
