Hosts of D1, D2, and D4 are clear to start the night's racing at the scheduled time.

D3 and D5 can start whenever they figure out who, if anyone, is going to host their rooms and they get that room open.

We have divisional threads that should be used to discuss the need for hosts and the like. Not everyone can expect to just show up Sunday night and race. It takes a small army of volunteers helping to make this whole thing work.

I don't own a laptop or computer so I can't help with data entry, replays and what not. But I will learn how to set up a room so we can at least race next week.

I will be back from vacation (and a looong year) after July 4th.

I want to rejoin/become active in SNAIL.

Been hitting tracks hard. Driving to next one in a few minutes. Siri says it is 90 minutes from my Brussels hotel.

On Wednesday, I drive on a track another hour and a half to the east of that, across the border.

Not sure if I have internet much until Friday.

Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.

My first Sunday night back and racing it was a scrappy night for D5. We had a host, but no data guy. Only three people including myself showed up to race. SMH

The only thing I think I could do is backup host. I can't do anything that requires me to be both online for any type data and racing. I have only one internet cable. I can't do replays because I have been unable to upload a race reply video. I tried the other day to upload my reply race from practice.
