Honesty with yourself?

Last night, my experience in D2 was obissmal! When you think you've practiced enough, and your lap times in practice seem good. Finding yourself in a complete shambles throughout the evening is so disappointing. At times, feeling like every mistake is caused by another driver. Humbling today, running through replays, only to find that every mistake and misfortune, fell completely on myself and no one else. My most dissapointing night in snail! So much to learn and conquer, especially amongst the challenging standard in D2. Hopefully this experience will help me grow and develop into a challenger amongst this great group. Thank you to the snail crew, again more to take onboard from these past few weeks, appreciated!

Have a great Christmas Snailers, see you all in 2017. Drive safely out there!

All the very best for the holidays...
@oharagbr19
Just keep at it especially if you have the time to practice. D2 is a very fast group (more like D1.5). I found practicing with others on track throughout the week became absolutely necessary to be competitive on Sunday. I have been absent as of late just for this reason. I have only had time to throw in some hotlaps on my own throughout the week, and it has never been enough come Sunday nights in D2. I'm hoping my schedule backs off a bit after the New Year in the hope of getting back to it. Good luck to you and keep practicing. The pace and experience will come.

The washer fix works as long as it's broken the right way. I've also seen guys have luck tearing apart an old computer mouse with a wheel and using that encoder wheel.

I'll look into it and it should be convenient for me to find seeing as I work for lowes lol
Have you contacted (email or phone) Logitech yet? Let them know up front you have an out of warranty G27 with a broken encoder wheel and ask them how much they'd charge to send you one. I did this with an out of warranty headset when the power supply/charger died on it and they sent another power supply to me without charge of any kind. Worth a shot anyway.

Dude, relax. If you think I'm trying to be offensive you have another thing coming. I'm just making a joke in the vain of "if you don't celebrate Christmas, you might be around next Sunday to race".

But please, pray tell, what about that post is offensive? Did I leave out too many other religions? ;)

Much respect to those that work 10+ hour days. It's all relative though, this was long for me. Doesn't mean it's long by someone else's standard and I get that. I got a taste of it today and it's exhausting.

Tom, I got the impression you were ticked off because you thought my post was offensive and took the time to say something. If I'm wrong then my mistake, think nothing of it.

Screw Christmas.

Ya know DP, it probably isn't the fact that you invited folks who may not celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December that some might find offensive. It's the fact you started your post with what's quoted above. If that's not trying to stir the pot I don't know what is. I'm not much of a fan of what Christmas has become but that comment is sure to raise some hackles in the diverse community that is SNAIL. Some things you should just keep to yourself or only state to those you know think as you do.

Do you honestly think I meant that literally? Seriously? Jeez, obviously anyone can come out. I'm not even gonna be around anyway so do whatever you want.

Again, you people really haven't figured me out yet? You think I said that to bait a response? It was just a light hearded (in my mind) joke. I'm sorry I offended you guys, now I know where the line is. I sometimes forget how important religion is to so many people even though it isn't to me. For that I am very sorry.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Hyundai Accent Rally Car '01 (Sports: Medium) at Autumn Ring / Forward (8 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @turnupdaheat wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '78 (Sports: Hard) at Cape Ring - South (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Alexrider007 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ricky_Blayz so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.
