I'm watching that live stream above now from the start. He pronounces Renault exactly how it is spelled. Loses all credibility.

Of some of the ridiculous things you have said in the past, this must be close to the top....Did you join the

👍

Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge at Sebring right now. Racing is finally back and now almost every weekend there will be something to watch, stream, or follow.

I didn't get it :( I was really hoping there would be a person from polyphony or product manager for it at pax, but apparently not so I couldn't get an in.

Oddly enough, several Silverstone finalists did not make it in either. Seems like a very small pool, and possibly administered as a random lottery. Letters are being written.

Don't you just freak out when you look down at your feet and see a SCERW?
and you know something is about go BAD!

edit; all better now and I found two had left me!

Some pix from last Sunday action in D2

Excellent Racing from Everyone at D2 :gtpflag:

Before you mess with the screws make sure you adjust the whatchamacallit after taking a look at rigamajig and making sure the dippsy doodle is in the proper orientation for the doohickey to line up with the thingamabob which should insure the gimcrack and the whatnot are properly aligned. This should bring the boondoggle and the flipper-flapper together for smooth operation. Then and only then should you mess with the screws!!!
Once your rig is up and running you can then paint it any color black you want.

Good luck.

Thank you Red Green....

So far I really like the Beta of GTSport. Sounds and sights are amazing, added tire models(Comfort Super Soft,Racing Super Soft, etc.) I like the driver rating inclusion. The physics model seems to be very good as well.So far I have only been able to test with a DS4 ,but like what I have experienced with it as well. The interface is very clean and functional,no fluff.I will try to post as much as I can about my experience, as detailed as possible.

Is it time to get excited yet ??

Do the physics work well with the ds4. My biggest of many issues with pcars and the reason i gave up on it entirely was that it was impossible to drive with the ds4. I dont have any plans to get a wheel anytime soon so i wont buy another racing game unless i can play it competently with a ds4. Its a make or break issue.

Have you talked to Lessen about controller settings? He gave me some that are fairly decent for some fun

I played it at Pax East, and with the DS4 it was as playable, if not better than GT6 on the DS3.

Yes, he has, but the game simply does not suit how he uses a controller I don't blame him. You have to be pretty dedicated to the learning curve to be competitive. Hard to do when one is still focuses on being competitive in a different game with a vastly different control system.

I appreciate all your help lessen and am bummed that i cant participate in the pits series cause it looks like fun. It just isnt worth it if i cant take a turn without spinning off track. I hear how great the physics are in pcars and it sucks to not be able to experience it. Hope either gt sport or pcars 2 or both support guys like me otherwise the pool of available competent drivers will shrink dramatically.

I really dont even mind if controller users are at a disadvantage in certain areas like in gt6 as long as i can control my car and drive predicatble, repeatable lines. Wheel and pedal users should have an advantage for obvious reasons.

PCars is playable with a ds4, you just need to give it more time. I felt the same way when I first got it and stopped playing it completely because I found myself spinning almost every turn. I got Lessens settings and started showing up for PITS practice on Mondays and now I actually enjoy the game. I still spin but not every turn like I used to. Give it another go its a fun game. Its just nothing like GT, and makes GT look like a NFS arcade racer.
