To gain miles online, I'm certain you have to be in a race, and not on track and running laps. If not then his else would explain my cars needing oil changes after they have stuck around after 3 Sundays? However, in an open lobby, it maybe you also need to room to he set to tmrace for real, and not the other selections for miles to register.

Dylan, hold faith my friend. I gt a feeling I'll be hanging out more, and I'm sure others will be more active once as summer winds down.

Racing online does add mileage to your car. I can verify this by looking at any of my SNAIL cars. I only use them to break them in and then race on Wednesday or Sunday. Any practice I do is in my lounge in free run and this does not add mileage.

Running a race online will put miles on your car but you have to finish the race. If you were to run 19 laps of a 20 lap race and quit, no mileage would be added to your car.

You guys seem to be right. Looks like I'll be practicing with long races in the lounge and breaking in cars at the same time.

My connection is too unstable for Magic Lap tonight. If I wasn't sure we'd be doing the same thing next week I might try to keep it connected, but I don't think it's worth it now.

Anyone down for some late night shuffle around 1 or 2 am est? It's Friday, and I do not have to be up in the AM

I will likely be on within two hours although I need to get some practice in on the X and the M5. But I will look for any action going on first.

Unfortunately my TV situation does not allow for me to use my PS3 after 8 pm unless I get lucky.

Darn the luck. Sounds like you and Handle-bar could use a spare TV. Sure could use you in Division 5.

Well, the paddle shifters for the DFGT arrived on Thursday and I spent a little bit of time getting used to them yesterday...should be good to go for tomorrow :)

I ended up not feeling very well last night, so I didn't practice. Now I gotta play catch up with practice =(

I am feeling pretty good about the combos. I like the M5. I ran 8 laps all within a second of each other. I have plenty of practice on Twin Ring East (damn you GTA) and feel the NSX is really good on that track. I need a bit more consistency with it but pretty happy over all. Plus I should actually get to race my combo choice this week:)

Read through the first page, and time trial info, Manny, so you can send your info to kcheeb.

Tez, that TT idea is sounding pretty darn cool!

I will be rejoining the Sunday Night League on Sep. 2, looking forward to racing with everyone again next week.

We may not be doing the normal festivities Sep. 2 due to the holiday weekend. I think I read that the idea was to do a poll after the races tomorrow to see how many people would want to race and decide based on that.

This is correct. At the end of the night, the directors of each division will not only ask each driver which round they vote to eliminate, but also if they intend on racing on September 2nd. If the results of that poll indicate that there will be more absences than usual, we'll replace the official races with a special event instead.

I want to join ! , this new form of racing sounds very tidy and Pro. I'm very interested in this club...

Hey DSM4G64AyoManny,

Thanks for your interest in S.N.A.I.L. we have lot's of good fun here 👍

We run a clean league by enforcing the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and we expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both.

Follow These Steps:
1. I add you to the drivers list as a New S.N.A.I.L.
2. You run the Time Trial.
3. You Private Message my GTPlanet account with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
4. I assign you to the appropriate Division, to give you the best racing possible.
5. A PSN friend request will be sent from the appropriate SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That is where you race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday :)

The original post has a lot of information regarding the league, commit it to memory ;)

The second post has the current race lineup and is updated weekly.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread. To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

Welcome aboard and enjoy :)
