I ran in sport mode last night. Started with a BS grading and finished with a BB rating. I should have listen to Tex!

Man, when I first saw the suggestion, I thought to myself, there’s no way, horsepower has to be a typo. If this one wins, it will fulfill every man’s HP dreams.

I just found out that the Subaru @ Nurburgring may have a slight problem. The car has 4 gears and tops out on the straights. If anyone can confirm this please post.

If thats the case I will allow those that voted for it to change their pick. I dont think anyone realized this issue when they cast their vote. You dont have to change your pick - I'm just giving you the option. Any other combo that was voted on cannot be changed - only the people that voted Nurburgring.

I still feel bad that some of you had to suffer through the WRX combo so I'm putting in a little extra effort here.. glad to hear some of you enjoyed it though.

The Falken will top out everywhere.
The F40 is close to topping out 4th on the main straight but fortunately it has 5th gear to use.


My vote is for the Ferrari/Interlagos.

Have driven the Falken a few times and can confirm its as slow as a snail (top end that is).

The Turn 14 car is a drift car normally but it gets 5 gears if you change the gear ratio from standard to customizable. Although its top speed is a little better it still not much, If we want to use it we might need to come to a consensus on an agreed upon gear ratio before the race.

Not going to happen. There will be no "agreed upon" specs. The car will run as it is. If it wins the vote and tops out, it can get voted off and serve as a learning experience for individuals to test a car and track before throwing it out there.

@JDBowler @SAMHAIN85 The Falken turn 14 distribution maxes out at around 226 kph, which with its hp it does so right after the start/finish line, on the straight after the first tight corners, the curved straight before the hairpin, the small straight after the shumaucher eases, before the curve on the back straight. It maxes out 5 times and spends a lot of time maxed out on the start/straight, and the back straight.

Just tested it. I knew last night it didn’t max out on me. Just to be safe I didn’t lift until after I hit the wall at the end of the front stretch at Autódromo with the F40. It’s good to go.
