Of course the honorees go up there first to honor them for the rest of the year and hopefully i got everyone on the drivers list. Thank you to the Founders of Snail, thank you to all the Hosts, Texters, Replay Uploaders, the people who help with data and scoring. 2018 has been an exciting year for snail with all of the re-curring and new tracks added to GTS plus the recurring and new cars added. I am sure 2019 is going to be a blast of Snail getting not just returning drivers but new drivers as well and Snail to keep growing to the well organized online racing organization that Snail has turned out to be. It has been an interesting 2018 where i have been going from two different divisions throughout. Practicing with drivers who have either same skill set as me or better skill set in driving. Respectful people on the track and yes have made mistakes on track including myself from last night's races.

Long live Snail and hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah , Holidays for 2018 and ring in 2019 the Snail fashion way. Drive clean, Drive Snail, long live Snail!!!

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - HONDA RAYBRIG NSX CONCEPT GT 2016 (GT500) (RH) at Fuji Speedway F - 06:15 Clear (7 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @basswerks1 wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @basswerks1 has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 4 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D4 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @basswerks1 is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - MCLAREN 650S GR.4 (SS) at Tokyo Expressway - South Inner Loop - 18:00 Clear (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @SAMHAIN85 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Bologna_Duc so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

@SAMHAIN85 @basswerks1 @Bologna_Duc

Two of you will be repeat prize winners for this season. I will sort that out in the conversation which I will get started later tonight. With the off week, we have plenty of time to get things sorted.

If you raced in D4 this week, you are allowed to make one, and only one, suggestion from which @basswerks1 will choose prize A.

  • Your selection must be posted in this thread
  • You must not edit your post to change your selection
  • Be clear in you choice of car and track (use exact names as they are presented in game)
  • Be sure to choose a time of day unless you want default time
  • The deadline to make a suggestion will be 10AM ET on Friday
  • Remember, you are not voting for a suggestion that someone else makes

Failure to follow any of these rules will result in your suggestion(s) being disallowed.

@SAMHAIN85, @MajorBlixem and I did some testing last night. All I can say this is this is going to be a really fun, interesting and exciting event, with a lot of team coordination. The "handoff" to the next driver is going to be very challenging with 5 teams waiting to go.
I would highly encourage all participants of this event to try to make it to this practice tonight.
