@dangerman1985

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58,@MajorBlixem & @SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL :cheers:

I'm interesting in joining the league was invited by II-nova- II

Dont forget to claim dem $hells @llNovall :cheers:

In case y'all haven't noticed, we're making more of an effort to find out how new members found out about SNAIL. The instructions to join on the original post even asks recruits how they heard about us. If anyone ever mentions you as the reason they joined the league, be sure to collect your 10 $hells (for being a RECRUITER) by clicking the 'claim $hells' link in my sig.

Once you've recruited a few members to the league, you can compete for cool swag like this! :cheers:

And in regards to practice tonight - I forgot to include the combos we're using in my original post. If you're new here it'd be wise to grab these cars before practice begins:

1. DODGE VIPER GTS 2002 on SS Tires @ Nürburgring GP - 12:00 Fine Weather - (5 Laps)
2. FERRARI F40 1992 on SS Tires @ Autodromo Nazionale Monza - 12:00 Fine Weather - (6 Laps)
3. AUDI R8 LMS AUDI SPORT TEAM WRT 2015 on RH Tires @ Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa - 15:30 Clear - (7 Laps)

Combo sheet thanks to @Rednose58:

And @JamCar0ne should be along soon with some shiny banners for us. Practice lobbies will be open in about 2.5 hrs from this post with the 1st race starting at 9:30EST. Send friend requests to the hosts SAMHAIN85 and nog3861

Lol @nmcp1 is having a hay day!!!

Does anyone know who owns the domain www.snailracing.com

The website has hit the back burner at this time. But once I get the glassware figured out I’ll jump back into the site.

The same registration info is still the same as it was in December 17. It does say registration expired a few days ago. The wayback machine also shows nothing, so it seems like this website has just been sitting there dormant on and off since 1999. Strange.

I read the first post and would like to join snail.

SNAIL OFFICIAL PRACTICE TONIGHT
9PM EST

For 3 weeks in a row we've needed 2 separate lobbies to accommodate everyone. So we'll open 2 at the beginning of the night and go from there.

@SAMHAIN85 - Hosting D1/D2 lobby
@Nick Cannella - Hosting D4/D5 lobby

If you are in D3 or have not been placed in a division yet you can choose which lobby to join.

Send the hosts friend requests if you havent already. It'll help find the lobbies easier. My PSN is the same as here. Nick's PSN is: nog3861

Stuck on grid issues: We've had some problems with people getting stuck on the grids. If you get stuck the first time we start the race, we'll back out and restart. If you get stuck again we wont restart. We cant spend too much time on it because we've got a schedule to follow to finish practice on time. Use the time you would be in the race to restart your modem/router/clear cache. If you come back and you're still getting stuck join the other lobby thats open. You wont be with your division mates but at least youll still be able to practice.

See you guys tonight
Practice stream:
