Hey, I'm very interested in joining this group. I've been following this thread for some time and I thought this looked like a ton of fun. :) How exactly do I get started?

Hey doodle,

Thanks for your interest in joining S.N.A.I.L. and sorry for my tardy reply. We have a good welcome post I usually reply with, but I'm not at my computer.

If you can find one of my earlier replies it has a time trial we need you to run so we can get you in the correct division.

I'll get you the whole welcome reply as soon as I get back to my computer.

Cheers,

Kcheeb

Thanks for the reply 👍 I looked around and found an earlier post a few pages back. I can try to run the time trial on Monday at the earliest since I'm out of town Sunday. I can't wait to run some races with you guys

Hey doodlemonoply,

Got home too late to post this last night. Here's the welcome message, looking forward to having you racing with us 👍

Can you let me know which PSN ID you'll be racing with, thanks?

We run a clean league by enforcing the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and we expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both.

Follow These Steps:
1. I add you to the drivers list as a New S.N.A.I.L. (Done)
2. You run the Time Trial.
3. You Private Message my GTPlanet account with your time from the time trial (no Sunday racing until this is completed).
4. I assign you to the appropriate Division, to give you the best racing possible.
5. A PSN friend request will be sent from the appropriate SNAIL_Division1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 account. That is where you race on Sunday night.
6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday :)

The original post has a lot of information regarding the league, commit it to memory ;)

The second post has the current race lineup and is updated weekly.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, post your choices in this thread.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

Welcome aboard and enjoy :)

I think I will use my doodlemonoply account and my racing number will be 96. I haven't decided on colors yet.

I would like to join. I received a message about joining.

Hey qwietstorm,

Good to have you racing in S.N.A.I.L. 👍

If you can get me your time trial before 6:00 PM Eastern Time, we can get you racing tonight.

SNAIL,
I don't remember who keeps track of the colors, but since there are 2 others racing with Green colours in D5 I will be changing my main color to Reflex Spice. The wheel and number remain the same.

Last week, the Division 2 points tally came to down to a single point. If it's even possible, I think this weekend might be even more exciting! First we go to Motegi with the NSX, where a big pileup in the first set of sweepers majorly shook up the running order last week. Then we head to Monza, where the extremely stable and fun to drive Aston Martin is much more conductive to close racing than the Mclaren we drove last week. Finally we close it all out back at Motegi on the superspeedway, where the draft and several lanes of pavement (plus any drivers who aren't used to ovals) means anything could happen...

Folks, things are gonna get intense.

Totally agree! Can't wait for 10pm tonight and good luck for all those that didn't practice
