Just a heads up - I won't be available to host D1/D2 practice tonight and in the near future. Someone from either division will need to step up and make sure it runs smoothly. @Nick Cannella (who hosts D4/D5 practice) and I would be in a party during practice to make sure lobbies have even numbers and to start each race roughly at the same time. That way if both lobbies had less than 16 combined we could merge them and everyone is still on the same race count. I suggest you continue that.

@thracerviewr @Neutty @Rednose58

I'll get D1 data for last week completed sometime tonight before I skip town tomorrow morning. Good luck to all SNAILs in the March Season :gtpflag:
D4/D5 lobby will be opened around 9:00pm EST. I will post the room number at the appropriate time.

do you know what is the lap time difference between D1 and D5?, i beleve it would be less than 2 seconds or less...
The data for past races are here. You can see how the different drivers in different divisions compare. Look at the tabs at the bottom for the February Season. Look at the links in the left column for past history
Save this link for future reference because you would like to see how you do yourself

Unless someone else really wants to do it I'll host the D1-D2 practice room tonight. @Nick Cannella let's sync up in a party like you normally do with @SAMHAIN85

I'll host D1/D2. Nick, please set up the Party Chat

Also, I did this port forward thingy. Any wizards out there that can tell me how to test if it is actually happening without downloading more software from the web?

EDIT : Forget it, I didn't see the one above.......

Will do @Rednose58. How difficult was it to set up port forward? I’ve been looking into doing it but don’t want to mess with my internet / DNS settings or whatever it is. Currently running NAT 2

I have read the first post and would like to join. I discovered SNAIL a couple of minutes ago when I entered one of your races in GT Sport (WRX in the new track). My PSN ID is : TONOLOZANO

@Lozano1

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58,@MajorBlixem & @SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL :cheers:

Alright guys, I was looking at plastic cups until I came across this site.

https://thecupstore.com/custom-printed-glassware.php

Now the question is....
What glass shall I choose. I was thinking about the pub 16oz. It’s simple. BUT How many of you beer drinkers know what the best all around glass is. I’m not a beer drinker myself more of a GIN guy. I’ll make anything work.
This is still to come. We are working on a logo currently still.

Sorry @thracerviewr and @Nick Cannella

Go ahead and host. I'll be backup. Invite me to the party though

Port Forwarding: It is not difficult once you know how to access your router and find the menu where you do it. and how to enter the ranges. Looks like an important step is to reserve your IP and that's not too complicated either
Another option that is a little simpler is to put your PS4 in your router's DMZ. If your router has this option (it should) you still need to reserve an IP address for your PS4, then just select to add it to the DMZ. What this does is open all ports for the PS4 to use, that's why there's no need to set up specific ports.
