Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add CoachMK21, JLBowler, nmcp1, zer05ive, Rednose58, MajorBlixem & SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

So when someone disconnects generally they can’t see the lobby and are trying desperately to get back into the lobby in the allotted 3 minute time frame. It happened to @Timlour and @Jw_wk1010 last night. Not sure how D2 resolved this issue but in D1 last night we were about to start a new lobby which takes time to get everyone into that lobby.

@SAMHAIN85 and I tried to load the next combo which in a way resets the room. When we did that @Timlour was able to see the room and renter the lobby. Where I don’t know if this is a fix in the future or if it was a fluke deal but I will say try it next time instead of opening a new lobby. Could save everyone some time.

I would hate for someone to not beable to enter the lobby due to someone not responding as well.

I worked hard to get @Timlour back into party chat so we could resolve the situation quickly. I want to remind everyone that if you get disconnected, send messages to the Division Manager, Host of the lobby and the Scorekeeper. Find the party chat and get back in. We are all quiet during the race but people generally start talking once the race is over. You can speak up at that time. And then reach out to the others in the lobby, someone will say something in the party chat. If you are not friends with the others in the lobby I recommend sending friend requests to everyone so the race night can resume quickly.

*6/18 Race at SARTHE has been changed to mimic the 2.4 hour race.

This means you can run the cars you have selected for the 2.4.

This means that we will run a 90 minute race and we may require 2 lobbies. We will run this as a timed race as well.

If you want to run for Snail endurance points, you may do so and only run 60 minutes worth. I will go back to the stream, and verify you completed 60 minutes worth and score points from there any more time spent on track is a bonus for you.

If you were planning on running due to the upcoming ARL race on Saturday, we can get your car to the proper BOP settings and you can run the track and learn it more. The only difference would be the tyre/fuel wear.

This will consist of a multi-class event, you may run what you want as far as going for arl practice or 2.4 practice.

All SNAIL/ARL drivers are welcome.

You have been listed below as you have ran with us before or you are a trusted racer and you have signed up for the 2.4 race.

Last week I won prize A with 113 points but in this weeks points it says I got 88 which would not have won me prize A. Just wonder what the discrepancy is? Please help

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Currently tracking 2 Incident Reports​
We have at least one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the order of the prizes to be selected. All winners are asked to refrain from making selections until the Weekly Steward's report has been posted.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.
