Idk the technical name but whatever that wavy metal is under the cushion of the seat. Yes it is a square post, 3/4". I ended up just clamping it onto there, I assumed it was too small but it was just large enough, granted it is mounted horizontally

That will do the trick. đź‘Ť

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - TOYOTA MR2 GT-S 1997 (SH) at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit - 10:00 Cloudy (17 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Kgffy wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - TOYOTA GR SUPRA RZ 2020 (SS) at Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A - 10:30 Clear (12 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @TEX36 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Timlour so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

SNAIL only exists from all of the time and energy put in from upper management down to race night where certain jobs need to be fulfilled for SNAIL to function. Hosting, Replay uploading and texting are pretty simple and straightforward. However, scorekeeping and data entry require a bit more attention to detail and responsibility. If you are interested in learning how to perform these duties and helping your fellow Division and League mates, I'll gladly host a "workshop" and explain how it's done.

Reply in the thread if you're interested. I can host one before official practice on Thursday night. Our practice lobby opens at 9PM EST, I can be online at 830 and open a party and go from there.

If Thursday night doesn't work for you then we can schedule another time. Just post so that I know you're interested.

You will need access to a computer/tablet in order to input data and scores. I suppose you could use your smart phone for entry but that will probably get a bit messy. You do not need to be a computer wiz by any means to do any of this stuff. It just requires a bit of time and energy on your part. And you'll get handsomely rewarded with $hells for your efforts. The marketplace has been quiet for awhile now, but I expect it to take off again one of these days.

If there’s enough interest myself and @CdnSweetTee will do our best to attend this session. We can both be on the chat and follow along on one computer.

I guess I made eye contact with a board member, because my name ended up for Div 3 scoring. LOL. Which means I'll attend the seminar. I'll keep an eye out for details. I have no life so I'm flexible and available.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that when you posted the below, it was taken by the division manager as volunteering to be the score keeper.

I'm interested in the details of being a scorekeeper. My attendance is high, but not always 100%. My tech savey is high for my age. Sadly it's an inverse proportion, so with my advanced years the tech savey is low by today's standards. Still not bad though. I had a similar conversation a year ago. Any way, I'm interested.

Definitely interested, unfortunately, THIS Thursday, I'm unavailable. I am available any other day.

Ok well it's been awhile since I've put some photos up...probably since GT6 I would imagine. So here are my first attempts at some race photos in over 3 years. Enjoy some D2 action...

Earliest time at Tsukuba in the lobby is 07:00 clear = "sunrise", I assume.

Hey Rob & Nova,
Looks like a great group has signed up for the new event. Great work. Enjoyed the practice. Wanted to let you know that with my current hours, having to work evenings in the office, has forced me into a crap show, as I’ll miss this event and Thursday spec practice. I doubt I’ll be off this schedule for a few months yet. I would’ve been in otherwise. I’ll keep ya updated. Gutted!

For those interested in learning about scorekeeping and data entry, I'll have a party chat open at 830PM EST to go over everything. I'll create a PM before then and link you the sheets so you can follow along on your computer.

@SAMHAIN85 what time do you usually host Thursday snail practice?

Official practice lobby will be open at 9PM EST and 1st race begins promptly at 930

My participation this Sunday hinges on how the NFL game is going that night. I should be able to drive if my team is losing horribly or the game ends early. Or I could join whenever I am able :)

Something weird is going on tonight. First lobby I dc'd from a blue screen. Then phlano inherited the lobby and it wasn't acting right. Now I host a new room and then it showed everyone disconnected. If someone else wants to host go ahead
