We have an absentee prize winner.

If you raced in D1 this week, you get to make a suggestion for Prize B and then the other three divisions will be voting to determine prize B. This will be for a track to pair with the Vette that was frozen.
  • Your suggestion must be made by posting in this thread.
  • You may not edit your post to change your suggestion.
  • Be sure to include the full in-game name of the track and time of day. Failure to include time of day will result in default being chosen.
  • The deadline to make a suggestion will be Wednesday @ 9:00 PM ET.
  • Remember that you are not voting for a suggestion that was already made. You are making your own suggestion.
  • Time of day with rain or wet track effects are not eligible for selection.
  • Please do not include photos or other extra text in your suggestion as it just has to be deleted when the posts are grouped together.
SNAIL Approved Track List
Full approved track list can be found here.

Prize winners are allowed to choose the time of day for their track selection. If a specific time of day is not selected then the default time of day will be used. (Note: The time of day settings differ between arcade and online modes in the game. Always check the lobby settings when selecting time of day.) In the event that a track is frozen, the time of day will also be frozen with the track.

Please remember that any car and track combo chosen must produce a mid-division lap time that is under 5 minutes. Also note that any selected track will be bound by the SNAIL lobby settings.

Also remember that any car chosen must not hit the rev limiter at any time, even in the draft.

One of the funniest things I've seen in a while:

The coronavirus has been responsible for a series of video-call stumbles and mishaps, and the phenomenon seemingly reached its zenith this week, when a Texas lawyer appeared before a judge as a cat, after being unable to change a video filter.

“I’m not a cat,” Rod Ponton was forced to clarify during a hearing in Presidio county, south-west Texas, as he and his assistant scrambled to remove the filter.

The filter, which displayed a kitten instead of Ponton’s face, was able to capture the lawyer’s horror and confusion, its eyes flitting across the screen as Ponton scrambled to remove it.

I'm not sure how to start, so here goes:
I'm not a fan of nebulous statements such as; "We have drivers...". Being relatively new, somewhat aggressive and somewhat ragged, and on probation in SNAIL, I feel I'm the "driver" referred to here. Especially when @Nick Cannella exited the lobby right after he and I came together in the last corner R2R2, lap 1. In my opinion, I wasn't at fault as Nick was diving inside me and there is a car width of room on the inside of the apex. What I miss is the ability to sit around with others and talk about these exact sorts of things.

Having said that, my name appears in the Steward's Review sheet way too often and that's totally on me. Aggression without skill is a disaster, and way too often I think that has described me. My goal for the future is to not be the cause of any more incidents.

I can't believe what I just had to do...I filed an IR on myself for knocking Tex off at the hairpin at Dragon Trail. This has got to stop.

Respect to you brother!

The ability to race with pace among others and respect the space 'and doors' of everyone is the ultimate racecraft goal. Me racing beginnings with snail started with taking out the host Handlebar and division manager on the first curve of the very first race. .. and then adjusting from driving arcade style to actually racing without aids.... wow slippy slippy. As I started to adjust, then I became magnet with @Schmiggz; we had about the same pace and always kept meeting and the worst possible points of track because neither one of us wanted to give that extra piece of room.

with time you learn that it is always much better to race smartly.. than being over aggressive... Gentleman Racing.... then you need to adjust to those that will never give you that same inch of space back.... without being a total Jack butt.

We have two suggestions from which to choose. If you raced in D2, D3, or D4 this week, you get one vote for one of the two choices below. Do not edit your post to change your vote. Deadline to vote will be 6PM ET on Thursday. In the event of a tie, the first vote cast is the tie breaker.
