The TV episodes that I saw had Mustangs, Camaros and the odd Charger. I never saw any import style American cars....but they did all have funky names so you need to have those thought of for them

I've only seen the show once so my knowledge on this subject is minimum.

Just don't spin off like what usually happens....I'm yet to see an episode where one of the muscle cars doesn't do that so it's race over after that really

Yes, premium or standard doesn't matter as long is FR. Yes tune one of them to 525pp and the other to 585pp.

Why the FR restriction on the Imports? Seems a lifttle odd as one of the advantages is weight (FF) vs tank heavy weights!

Ill choose the Aston Martin DB9 for now for the 585 and Lotus ESprit V8 GT for the 525pp.

.....also takes away evos, and sti's, skylines, NSX...this is starting to sound kinda bad. I think the rules should be any drive train. The point of the show after all, is for the red neck to prove they can beat any other car in the world.

Schmiggz...you mentioned a recent show that had a Lambo 4WD in it. So your event doesn't pattern itself after the show so you can simplify it a bit I assume?

The only time I've seen an Import won the 10Grand.. it was a GT-R which are AWD.

As for the restrictions for imports i think we should let them run whatever they want, its all in good fun

Maybe I'm wrong, since I'm still relatively new here, but the Prize B winner isn't someone I noticed on here regularly or racing before. Are we sure he's been here and knows that he won and needs to make a choice?

You can choose your own cars without winning a race.
Tracks can vary greatly.
Racecraft is top notch...better than other series due to longer races and less urgency to win on the first lap.
Only one qualifying session.

AND we are cool dudes! No one telling everyone to shut off their mics. We drink and drive and still have race long battles. The atmosphere is just so much better than anything else. No stress...just cool as the other side of the pillow.

I think the reason for the FR restriction is probably because this is a test event. Better to keep everything fair (FR Drivetrain only rather than FR v. FF/MR/RR/4WD). Personally, I wish I could've been able to run my GT-R but it all just to see it this event would work. I think I'll run a 300ZX and an Enfini FD RX-7 for the American vs Import races.

sup SNAILs I will be away for next 2 months father in law just got out of hospital and I'm working 60hrs/week as General Manager @GCOC getting things back to being organized and profitable from my 10 month absence... 10 months ago I had enough and walked out as Manager(tired of the BS lol) Father in law had Double by-pass heart surgery couple of weeks ago so between helping out at inLaws and a very long work week I find that I'm lucky to turn on the PS3 for 2hrs/week things will settle down in next month or 2 and I will be on track and racing weekly Cheers and keep up the great racing boys

I think an Audi won an episode as well. I also remember one where they DQ'd an RX-7 since it had a Corvette engine instead of the rotary

I got a PM from him stating that he was confused on how to post his Prize B selection. I replied with some clarification so hopefully he'll be posting his choice on the thread soon.

hmmm.. I think I might keep the nismo, but change the BMW to something else.

UNOFFICIAL: GCar is having some technical difficulties I guess, but in a PM he told me the SLS AMG '10 will replace the Lambo. Unless he changes his mind I suggest breaking it in.
