Chat very quiet the last 24 hours. I'm reviving it.

From one monument (Notre-Dame last week) to another, I'm staying in Paris this week for my Car-Show entry and visiting the Eiffel Tower.

On December 15th, 1832, Gustave Eiffel was born in Dijon, France. He was a civil engineer best known for designing and building the Eiffel Tower in time for the 1889 Universal Exposition in Paris. Mr. Eiffel also worked on the Statue of Liberty. In fact, it was first assembled in his factory in Paris before being dismantled and shipped to the United States.

Bonne fête Mr. Eiffel.

Other fun facts about the Eiffel tower: the structure was supposed to be a temporary one for the world expo but it was used by the radio stations as an antenna and they wanted to keep it. Also, keeping with the tradition of the french, they found it ugly at first and were complaining about it.

I went with a similar ish scapes to yours.

I'm really looking forward to the 350Z @ Fuji, I've been practicing a bit and I really love that combo. Hopefully it will survive another week.

Just a heads up for those of GT7 credit means, I am in the early stages of putting together a one-off fun event using some of the historic racing cars. No points, nothing but a fun time using some of the cars that see little use. Right now looking at using the Aston DB3S, Jaguar D-type, and Merc W196. While it is at this point too early to have many details worked out yet, I wanted to make mention as the Aston is currently on limited stock in the legends dealer, and the W196 is still available there as well. The plan is for any of the three cars to be eligible, so no need to collect them all; though they all have very unique handling characteristics and are a real pleasure to drive in VR.

Following up on my above post, I bumped the Holiday Event thread with the details. Click below for all the information. @Dragonwhisky and myself will have a practice room open this evening at 930PM for anyone to join. I will update when the room opens.
