If you see the replay, I follow the same line as the vehicle in front of me. Not sure why it resets especially when I've seen drivers total miss that corner wide without any resets. Last night was the first time I've ever been reset there and I've missed that corner many times in hot laps.

What a great way to start the February season with a 10 car grid. It was @ColonelAngus first night, I hope you had fun with our little group and hope to see you again. Once again, welcome to SNAIL !
@Oshawa-Joe leading the pack on the first race with his all chrome livery. You can't miss him, glad to see you in D1 you've got a good pace.
Third week of the R8 @ Deep Forest, it's still a good combo but the physics update changed the braking points especially for the first corner and the final hairpin.
That WRX turned out to be a surprisingly fun car even around that short and simple variant of the Red Bull Ring.

Therefore, the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. @JamCar0ne wins Prize A, and gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Subaru WRX Gr.B Road Car (SM) at Red Bull Ring Short Track - S02 Afternoon (17 laps)
This means either the car or track will be replaced for next week's line-up. @Worst_Driver is the Prize B winner and they have the option to freeze the car or the track, or they can give that option to the Prize C winner. If they give the freeze away, they get to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.
Prize C goes to @Nicktune - they get whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.
Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it's confirmed you don't have any penalties. Also, it's recommended you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history, to see how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember, originality is always appreciated. Although not required, picking cars and tracks we've never raced is a plus. What's more important is, you thoroughly test any combo you are considering, before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).
IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the Preset Weather and the Time of the Day (e.g: S01 Afternoon) or else it will be left to default. Available settings can be found under Time/Weather Settings, when creating an online Lobby, after selecting your track.

As an addendum to this announcement, from what I witnessed last night and, while reviewing my replays, I am compelled to advise everyone to do better regarding track boundaries and mitigating any possible advantage gained when exceeding those boundaries. We're getting close to my tolerance limit regarding track boundaries. When that limit is reached, this will happen again (expand the spoiler for January 11th 2015 and scroll down).

FEBRUARY 2025 STANDINGS
Pretty nice participation last Sunday with a total of 21 drivers across the two divisions. Always great to see some new names on the roster. Hope the new guys enjoyed themselves and join us again on February 16th.
No racing next Sunday as it's Super Bowl weekend. (I myself would much rather be racing than watching this year's edition of the SB)
I've had a hectic schedule last month or so and I hope it's behind me and I should be back to regular Sunday participation.

We had eleven ppl through most of the night, everybody was in the voice chat. That was a lot of fun! @Slow_Dad and @Gusmcnasty It was nice to meet you and hope y'all enjoyed your first night. I just had a few moments to spare for pictures, so only group shots and no commentary from me this week.
The rampant out of bounds in round 3 was an unsightly blemish on what was otherwise a great night. I too am guilty, a lot more than I thought after reviewing the replays. I apologize for being a part of the problem and setting a bad example for our newest members. @Dragonwhisky and @JamCar0ne, I appreciate the warnings and will make sure not to let it happen again. I continually learn things from this league and am striving to have the best racecraft I can. One thing I didn't know was if you DO go out of bounds in an advantageous way, you are to move off the racing line and lift for one full second to concede for the offense.
